I think even without being a rabid knowledge ***** like we are here on the RPF, I think you can collect enough knowledge from the trailers to make a solid decision whether or not it is something you want to see.

I'm really impressed by just how much world building and detail has gone into this. Jakku as a junker planet looks like a brilliant addition to the Star Wars cannon of strange but exciting worlds.

Nope. Aftermath and Lost Stars both establish it as being its own distinct planet.

Anyone looking for a comprehensive catalogue of SW TFA product? Go take a look at the UK Forbidden Planet website and click on the Star Wars bit. The UK site has got pages of stuff up, a lot of it due for mid October and the pictures are pretty good. Take a good look at the calendars and posters there are some spoilerish images there for those interested enough, theres one I'm REALLY not sure about, I'll need a proper look at the calendar to make up my mind . I do note the lack of Han, Luke and Leia images. Plenty of Chewie though.

I would have no problem with a flashback of Hayden playing Anakin. I think he's a good actor, Lucas is just not a good director as far as getting the most out of an actor.

Anything that makes these films connect to the star wars continuity is all right be me. I hate the idea that they are pandering to the OT fans.
I'm wondering if it won't be a flash back and if anikan will appear to his son...

I'm still hoping there's no flashbacks. Want to explain a character's sudden change of heart, or justify an odd plot twist? Plug in a flashback. It comes off as sloppy, especially when the closest we've seen to one in the saga thus far is a Force vision. (Unless you want to consider the P.T. one big flashback.)
