Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

People keep trying to sell him as "bitter," but I don't see it. He seems pretty level-headed about it all -- he had his own ideas, Disney had theirs, there was no reconciling them, and he realized it would be better for everyone if he got out of the way. Shoot, isn't that what we've wanted for years?

As I've said many times, star wars is a film style, as well as a story.

The wipes are just as much a part of it as John Williams score, the opening crawl and skywalkers

Totally agree. I've known people who weren't SW fans that think the wipes are cheesy but they fail to understand why they are used. They are used for a reason as Sourdoh said.

That's actually one of the reasons I like the prequels. They feel like a period piece within the same universe. Like watching Shakespeare.

Well, I actually meant more along the lines of how they were made, using older techniques and such. I have heard of people saying the prequels were Shakesperean in some regards though.

Some nice imagery:

I honestly don't know how to ask this question in order to clear myself or protect others from spoilers but..., I just want to know if Coruscant is going to be shown in Episode VII...(??)

Does anyone know? :D

I honestly do I honestly don't know what to make of that picture of Carrie Fisher. In that picture – even more so than the one-eye picture from a few weeks ago – she looks more like Carrie fisher from the 1980s and 1990s than ever before. However, all of the actual photos we've seen from the film make her look very different and much more like the Carrie fisher of today. Face wider, more wrinkles, more full cheeks. In fact, none of the pictures I've seen from the actual movie look much like "Leia" to me.

So either the pictures we have seen from the film are somewhat misleading and Carrie actually looks much better in the film that I expected her to, or they have heavily manipulated the picture used in this poster.
