Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I can't wait to have new lightsabers to chose from.

There is so much anticipation for Episode VII, but if JJ plays it right, and sets it up like I hope he does, I think the build up to Episode VIII will be a great time for Star Wars fans. Hopefully we will have a whole new wide world to look forward to.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Neither one. Traditional Ep. 4-6 colors, but clearly a more modern look. And it looks fantastic.

Just wondering but would it be possible for you to draw or at least describe what you saw? I'm pretty curious to know what they look like and it wouldn't be *that* much of a spoiler in my book.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

323 is a lot of posts to read through, but has anyone discussed how the falcon will look in ep 7? No dish from Death Star attack and what what abrahms did to the enterprise.
The X-wing is updated really close to the McQuarrie concept, I would assume if the Millennium Falcon is altered at all it would go that route too. It is easier to buy the new X-wing, though, because it is presumably not any of the fighters surviving the OT, rather a new model entirely, but the Falcon is still the same old Falcon. New paintjob perhaps, new add-ons or "special modifications", yeah, but my bet is that it's more or less the same with possible clues to the McQuarrie Falcon.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Wouldn't be too hard to add a new dish, I know the books are no longer cannon, but there was mention in one of the later ones that the dish got knocked off so many times, Han took to keeping a spare one in the hold.

Plus from what we have seen of the full sized one being built, it looks pretty identical.

The JJ prise was just one more of the many enterprises that already exist, there has only ever been one falcon.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Sorry, late to the party, but there are pics of Harrison in Ep7 costume?

You mean this?

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I just googled it, and came up with that. Didn't even realize that it was PSed. :facepalm Sorry!

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Interested to see what they come up with. I'm assuming it will look something like his Enders Game costume.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Well he did always say he wanted a cowboy style duster for Han, and instead they not only gave him a stupid camouflage duster, they gave one to everyone else too.

That made me think of one of those Dixie Cup dispenser where a new cup pops up when you take one. :lol I actually hope the Falcon has some obvious upgrades to show the passage of time. Nothing that would drastically alter the appearance, but maybe an upgraded dish. Han obviously isn't into keeping it stock, so he would add new tech as needed.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

So hear is a question. If the rumors about the severed hand and lightsaber are true, will JJ use the original Graflex version seen in ESB or will they go with the ROS version used by Hayden that was machined and looked similar to the Graflex. Personally, I hope JJ uses the original Graflex. What does everyone else think?

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I am purposefully posting this in the "wrong thread" because the stand alone threads are old and buried! :D

Star Wars 2016 stand alone film writer Gary Whitta has posted the first picture of the script for his upcoming Star Wars film.

(posted on his Facebook page.. his comment: "Writing that felt pretty good."
