Star Wars: The Force Awakens (Pre-release)

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

It's weird he can look so fragile, but give you the look like he could pull the ears off a Gundark... or a person if they got in the way.

ya, I found it odd that he (still having to take it easy I'm sure) would walk into a santa monica starbucks all by himself.. no assistant, no body guard, no wookie! :D I guess he just trusts people will be respectful or he's packing heat! that greedo killer might be tucked down his pants! :D

that' TMZ video seemed to show he is taking slow and concentrated steps though....

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I'm not a big wrestling fan, but I saw him on Conan Obrien a year ago or so and he seems like a cool guy. The problem with WWE people being in shows is the idiotic tv or movie writer inevitably has them in a fight scene where they are doing wrestling moves. They did that with someone (The Rock?) on ST Voyager.

That was The Rock, but to be fair, the whole plot of the episode was organized fighting, so that didn't seem out of place imo. There are plenty of examples of wrestlers just being cast for their physical size, and strength, so even if this rumour were true, I wouldn't worry about it at all. Heck, it's Star Wars. They've got no need to let that creep in.

Cody Rhodes appeared in Warehouse 13, and was only in an acting role. No fighting or physical stuff at all that I recall there. He was a downright passable guest star, actually.
Kevin Nash played the Super Shredder at the end of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2. In his very short appearance, he was just there to look big and menacing in a costume.
Big Show has appeared in many TV shows and movies, and is usually cast simply because he's huge. He had a good role in Star Trek: Enterprise where he was an Orion slave trader, and was lifting up T'Pol and man handling her as if she was a rag doll, but didn't do anything wrestling related. He was just utilized for presence and strength.
Sheamus' main move is a jumping front kick, which I don't exactly imagine him doing in a Vader costume. :lol

Add one red saber, and you're set!

The man is made of iron. There's no stopping him.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Bad Robot and Zack Snyder have been having this weird back and forth on Twitter showing pics of actors from their respective franchises giving friendly nods to the other. BR posted a pic of John Boyega (dressed as Batman, no less) and I noticed he's holding an interesting prop. Could this be our first look at an Ep. 7 DL-44? A Greedo Killer of sorts? Haven't seen anyone talking about it.

Awesome... seems to look like the real prop! Cant imagine Bad Robot would bother acquiring and using a fan made prop....

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

Though it seems odd from a real life perspective that Han would still use the same gun 30 years later, it's pretty much essential for the feel of the character. Glad they didn't mess with it overly (if indeed that's the real prop). I always knew Han was a traditionalist :)

I will crap myself transparent if Luke carries the ROTJ V2 instead of the "hero" saber. That would rock.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I never understood the love for the V2, I never liked it...i hope they go with the hero version

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

I actually don't think it's the same prop as the original - looking at the flash hider, the dimensions of it seem off to me, as the backend of it seems way narrow, and there's no set screw holding it on the bottom hole either. I cant see any trace of the Hensoldt lettering on the side of the scope, and the scope has that strange ring groove in front of where the dial is. Also, looking closely at the shape of the T track on top of the barrel and what little I can see of the grill, I think it is most likely a Master Replicas ANH Limited Edition blaster, made back in 2002.

Re: Star Wars Episode VII

323 is a lot of posts to read through, but has anyone discussed how the falcon will look in ep 7? No dish from Death Star attack and what what abrahms did to the enterprise.
