Star Wars The Acolyte (tv series)

Ignoring your particular choice in meme at the moment for this situation, you seem to have completely missed the point of my comment. I already claimed that the "hate" towards the actor was forced (AKA manufactured, clickbait, whatever other term you wish to use to describe how performative it may be). Regardless, such comments about the actor's "inability to remember simple facts" were still made, and are still just as annoying genuine or not. It's not a matter of believing it, it's a matter of delineating between genuine criticism or sound and fury signifying nothing. Something the Star Wars fandom LOVES to do. Scream their heads off about minor things that no normal person could give a crap about.

Look at that, I made the same point you did without resorting to using a tasteless, outdated meme.
I wasn't talking to anyone specifically, more of PSA.

Are we still going on regarding the actor who couldn’t get Luke and Anakin straight?

OK—I find myself being a useless troll…

Does it affect anyone’s opinion if he did it not once, but twice, under two different occasions?

Oh, yes—two transgressions on the same topic.

Behold the horror…

But, from what I understand…if those transgressions rile you up…oh, the hysteria that will erupt around Episodes 3 and 4.

;)

OK—just because I’m in an obnoxious mood…

Intolerable.

Nope. Literally could not care less.

He's an actor, if he's good on the show (which so far he appears to be), that's all I care about. He's also great on Russian Doll.

Nope, if he lied, made mistake, had a brain fart or did it on purpose..... I dont care. He is just an actor

Yeah, I think it's not so much what he said, but rather it's the context of acting like he knows something, which has people riled up.

Harrison Ford can't answer the same question, but he never acted like he knew all that stuff. This guy is making mistakes IN A KNOW IT ALL FASHION. I think that's what rankles people most.

Rewatching, I found it interesting how willingly the Jedi invade people’s minds without asking. Without warning most times. I wonder if Sol changed Osha’s memory of the night her sister supposedly died…

This maybe nitpicky but anyone else find it funny that the guy was using macrobinoculars to watch the fight when he was just standing on a balcony one storey above them?View attachment 1827761

Hey now…the guy has terrible eyesight and likely needs the macros to see who is fighting whom…otherwise, he might think that’s Anakin and the Evil Twin fighting down there.

I think it’s in character for him, over compensating to look official and cool.

Yeah. For someone who's a second year Jedi Knight he acts more like a first year padawan. Jedi standards 100 years before The Battle of Yavin must have been really really low, especially considering this guy made padawan. I'd love to see him running an obstacle course doing backflips with Yoda on his back.

The upside is it gives hope to plus size guys like me that we too can become Jedi Knights! Inclusiveness FTW!

Interviewer: "So does Han Solo blow up the Death Star?"

Ford: "What's a Death Star? Look, I ain't in this for your sci-fi revolution. I'm in it for the money."
