Star Wars: Skeleton Crew

The comic timing was *chef's kiss*. Had to rewind repeatedly as I was laughing so much, missing the dialogue!

This ep all but confirmed something I’d suspected almost from the get-go. But I’ve Sworn An Oath of No Spoilers, and this is the big one. Just gonna say…there’s a whole extra bonus layer of Easter eggs that nobody’s picked up on yet. Taking screen shots along the way, will post a photo dump following the conclusion.

There’s also a hint on the Black Series action figures’ packaging (if you know where to look).
"What's a concubine?"

I was dying at that one :)

Just caught up with that episode of screen crush.. sure hope that “theory” isn’t true

I do however love the back and forth between screen crush and heavy spoilers lol
IDK... If written & presented well, I think it could be interesting. Based on what we've seen so far in the show, I don't think they'd half-butt it like other shows have.

There are casinos in vegas that are no children places....

Yeah, but there's still plenty of other places on the strip you can park your kids. I could buy the resort on top of the former Skull Ridge Mountain being no-kids, but an entire planet?

I chalk it up to the GL logic that planets are all or nothing...all ice, like hoth, all desert like tat and jakku, all ocean like kamino, etc). They didnt show us much of the rest of the planet, maybe that was it? If pirates used it as a secret hidden base, odds are it was fairly uninhabitted not all that long ago (relatively speaking for a galaxy with hyperspace tracel for centuries)

True, but arriving on a pleasure planet in a starship is not like driving a car into Vegas. It's more like big yachts and RVs instead, which are perfectly able to accommodate kids for a few days. So I don't think it's implausible to expect the parents to leave the kids on the ship with a nanny droid, if they bring them at all.

Besides, you wouldn't take the kids to a strip club or the red light district, and expect them to wait in the parking lot, right? Just leave them at home. Unless you're in Florida, that is.

I will not walk this thread into that territory but I think I summed up your post with, "some occupations do not have a take-your-kid-to-work-day".

I suspect not. My theory is they are the original 'barrier' system that kept the planets safe. A constellation of satellites, they are just broken now. At-Attins is still working and so its been unknown all this time.
The other planets is broken and so its been ravaged by all the various fighting over the years since the Old Republic. Which is why there's such a mish mash of equipment, all left over from various factions and times fighting over the 'gems' of the republic.

I also think the leadership of At-Attin know all about the fall of the other planets which is why there's no comms out and security is so high. It will be interesting to see just what and why they have remained hidden.
