Alrighty, I have been gathering material for some other parts, as well as studying some grabs for these next parts I will be making. Looks like I will be making the pipes also studying the cranes on top, there is still a bunch to finish up on the cabin. As said this thing has so much going on. I as well had to give my eyes a break today after some study work. I will be Back in the shop in the morning, more to come heck really I'm just getting started. Thanks

Alrighty My RPF Friends, Been busy cutting yep then redoing the cutting. I also did a bunch of studying of these parts, thinking I have it then look at a grab and nope start all over again. I once had this small part almost completed to have it go flying into no where land. So as saying this thing is crazy with so many things going on, but I will get it I hope, my eyes have been giving me fits focusing and watering. I will be having surgery next week I think yep I hope this fixes the problem with me eyes. I guess I might be down for a bit not sure how this works. So enough of that here is some stuff happening today many times. Thanks and Enjoy

I tell you something funny here I am in a quite shop starting to hold this pipe in place as glue set up and my hand hit one of the buttons which I forgot about, PREPARE FOR ASSAULT loud! scared me bad made me jump. Okay I am kind a looking at this small deck where the cannon is, I will stop there for the moment and finish up some more stuff on the back and back deck before I go up to the front. Back to the shop in the morning get busy. Thanks

Okay RPF friends, Today I just kept hitting a wall. I have this other small thingy I had to bash out for another client real fast and as finishing up on this me eye balls was on fire so I did get it finished with one happy fellow walking away. So mostly today was spent on all these diff. parts on this cabin, also including the upper part of this. I will have two cranes seem under the cranes there are theses bars that stick out in many spots along the sides the side windows need finishing as well. Then the lanterns, and the one crane on the back right seems to be carrying some kind of drying rack for there food. So after studying I went on a parts gathering, I do catch meself looking at the up front stuff as well. Got to lookest at some screen grabs to see which side of the windows is propped open these parts are already cut and ready to glue up which I will share. I think I will put a piece of screen in this window for detail. I will be jumping to the upper deck for a bit of crane making, and these things are crazy looking. I think I am getting there, I work pretty quick but me eye balls are slowing me down. I have to think about me sight. So Back to the shop in the morning and do some gluing as well as sharing the process. Thanks Guys for following along on this journey.

Okay My Friends, everything said in last post, however I discovered another pipe so I made this one along with yesterdays cutting. So all this got glued up, as well as some filling in work which still a bunch of sanding on this. Busy all day and here is my efforts. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay RPF Friends, I was trying to find the right parts, I thought I had it then it just didn't look rite. So I have some cannons I cut off my x-wing build I have some pics in studio scale models might have to search but pics of it are on RPF. I was however lucky to only to find 3 I need all 4, I went on a hunt and wasted a bunch of my day doing that, I bet I looked in one box 5 times and I found it I knew I still had it. And it happened to be in that box hiding. So I have 2 cranes in progress, I still have some cutting to do then some gluing. Still have many more parts to make before I have a crane but they are starting to take shape. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay I really feel efforts was short coming today, I had a few Honey do's to take care of as well, so that's my excuse, I am going to make these cranes movable turn and top part will lower and raise. I mentioned here some bit ago about these rods sticking out, these are a type of crane as well they are crazy to. I am wondering is there any cable on the spool behind the crane, Hum the crane does have a cable coming down so you would think the spool would have it as well. This detail stuff can be busy. Wow Guys Thanks for the comments and likes, Yes this was a cool episode and right on about the music, and glad you found my post. As far as building one make it happen just get ready for a bunch of cutting, and as far as this build goes if I could have I would much rather had used plastic on everything. That stuff is pricy and its hard to get in big sheets. So I use what I can, saying such here is how today went almost have a crane and I did some pipe straps on this back pipe. I am thinking about this top part of the crane does it do all the turning and up and down or top up and down and turn at the base, Hum I wonder this is why I stopped at this point. A bunch of just stare at it and think I get the part in my head then I make it, I am like a printer like my friend says. Here is my efforts for today as well as a bunch of time wasted but it was a nice day out. Thanks and Enjoy

Okay Guys Back to the shop in the morning get these cranes done up. As far as using plastic I think the wood gives it a rustic sweaty look as on screen I will be moving to these other crazy looking cranes I think there will be 4 of these yep I think so. Yard signs like Garage Sale or For Sale signs are a great source for sheet plastic. Hardware stores will have signs for just a couple dollars. Smaller signs are typically thinner plastic.
Corrugated plastic signs are another good material. Ask your neighbors for their old election signs or "Fill out the Census" signs and you'll have a stack to last years.

Yes that is right signs are a good source for some plastic, Thanks for the info, I do have a bit of sheet plastic I keep back. Saying such I had to break down and use some today, really got after the cranes today, Still got far but these cranes have a bunch of parts, and I have to make 2. After getting to a point of the crane build, I jumped into a other part the trim below the crane. Still lots more to do before I have a complete crane. So here you go, my efforts of today. Okay my RPF Friends hopefully I can get these completed in the morning then move on to the other crazy cranes and there are 4 of those yep. Alrighty RPF Friends, Your welcome George, seems like all my builds are adventures this is my passion. So today man I bet I went in so many directions it made me dizzy, and cut one part so many times just to get it rite. I thought I would make it to the next cranes, I was wrong I gave it a shot though. Okay Friends, Thanks for all the comments and likes, I still have a bit more on these cranes and to mount them, which will be something I will do later I don't want to get snagged on them as I am building. I have gotten snagged on that small pipe on the back bout pulled it into the floor, good save, Now I am focusing on the other cranes, then there is a ladder on the back in the opening. also got to do the trim under the crane on the other side, which I just now thought about, wow that one got away from me. Back to the shop in the morning get busy with it. Thanks

Okay RPF Friends, well I kind of had one of those days, eyes glitching in and out, I go for my eye surgery tomorrow bout 1 o clock, Fingers crossed. So as I was putting the trim under the crane the side I forgot about till my post. I kept on looking at the ladders, so I went to a screen grab and next thing I know I am cutting off ladders, and I am glad I did now they look rite. also started figuring out these other cranes, lots of parts on these. So not much efforts made today besides this gave me eyes a break. here you go. Thanks and Enjoy

Yep those disc are for the other cranes my eyes played out cutting them, the trim and ladders was first, I also turned them the right way in screen in fact all the ladders look like these. Well can't say back to the shop this time got a trip to take, and I am kind a apprehensive about it, so hope I will be back at it here quick. More to come. Thanks

Thanks so much George ,For the Godspeed and candle well me poor eye type balls was so poked and Doc says I have bad glacoma in both eyes and most likely looking at a surgery in 2 weeks he wants me to try these eye drops, which I told him I have been doing these drops for over a year so he want me to try these diff. ones he gave me the choice of doing surgery then he talked about infection, bleeding, and a loss of vision I sat there like a deer in headlights, so we wait for two weeks try these other drops. then more than likely eye surgery. Yep me eye type balls are very sore so I will be headed Back to the shop in the morning and try and give it a go. Thanks
