STAR WARS Rebels new animated series!

I was a bit disappointed on the finale. Almost everyone lived except the 2 disposable inquisitors. My feeling was "it's about time". But beside that.. I loved it. I just don't like how many loose ends there are.. But that's what brings us back. I tend to believe a far out there theory that Ezra is Snoke.
Three inquisitors died. Asoka lives, Vader walks!!! Kanin is now blinded and Ezra access the Sith holocron. Damn good episode. My only gripe was the helo-sabers..[emoji19]

Wow great episode. As soon as Vader and Ahsoka started fighting I was like NO NO NO NO NO NO NO. So glad she survived. Lot of questions for next season. What a great show!

I LOVED the fact that vader took damage

And it was very unexpected that kanan lost his sight. I'm curious to see where that goes.

Dave talks about being able to do something that the fans have been wanting to see and discussing it at celebration.

I bounced around a few thoughts about events and characters like Obi Wan, Solo, but ultimately I believe they are going to have a story with Boba Fett.

So,

the ancient battle..
for some reason it reminded me of an EU story. where sith and jedi had their souls sucked out of their bodies and into an eternal prison. i think it was a darth bane story.

for a second there I Thought Kanan = Lobot. but I Think he was deaf, not blind ;o).

it looks like asoka survived, and the explosion allowed her enough time to escape, but if there was ever a way for her to go out..
that'd be it.

I also buy that even if her heart wasn't in it...the ONLY one who could equal darth vader is his apprentice....it makes total sense that she almost won.

Also, it would have been a nice touch if the music at the battle was a mix between revenge of the sith battle theme and asokahs theme.

Actually he was not deaf, his brain functions had just been taken over by the computer/electronics in that device in his head. You see this happen in the Lando comic series. :)

..was that Ashoka walking into a dark tunnel/door at the end or was that the flying cat thing? I'm so lost if she survived or not?!?!

Actually you might have caught more than I did. I did not see that and from the Rebel Recon, they made it seem like it was questionable.. However this was posted in the episode image gallery at StarWars.com:

Like I have said, the monetization if Ashoka is just beginning.

No big deal, at least she's done more to earn her rep/popularity than Boba Fett has. Plus, I'm sure Disney sees this as an excellent opportunity to draw even more female fans to the franchise.

In regards to this episode, very well done, it was definitely one of the best episodes this season. It's a pity that they saved this kind of episode for the finale, we really could have used a few more like this scattered throughout the season. But I like what Dave F said in the Rebels Recon about the filler episodes not being throw away episodes and how they'll tie in to S3. Oh, and like everybody else here, I too thought that the helo-sabers were stupid. I'm expecting a lot of jokes and funny cartoons to start showing up soon making fun of this.
