STAR WARS Rebels new animated series!

the show is no where near as fun as Clone Wars was, but the season still went by way too fast. we need more episodes per season. i don't want to wait till September

They needed some mini arcs. Moments of threat.

It started off strong, but then went for filler until the end.

I think the writing has gotten better, but the stories haven't.

And that is your opinion. But the stories and info about how the rebel gets ships, fuel, and bases is the type of stories I was hoping for when I heard the show was going to be about the development of the beginnings of the Rebel Alliance. However even though some of these stories are not mind-blowing, each one adds to the characters and larger story arcs even if those aspects aren't instantly clear at the time.

...The crew was shooting like stormtroopers in that episode, 10-20 feet away and they can't hit a 6 inch wide eyeball?
That was one thing that bothered me about this episode. Sabine tells the crew to shoot them in the eyes, shows them how effective it is, and they all spend the rest of the episode shooting everything but their eyes. :facepalm Just plain dumb.

Even the good guys don't hit their targets all the time. And when you add that most of them were running or in some sort of reverse motion, it is difficult to hit a small target.

Oh, I know that, but there were quite a few moments when they were standing still and the spider-things weren't moving much, and the blaster hits were still nowhere near the eyes. I know they were trying to "ramp up" the threat to our heroes and show the spider-things posed a serious problem to the rebels' new home base, I just didn't think that was a good way to do it.

Great news via our pal and StarWars.com writer Sander de Lange. During an interview earlier today with Billy Dee Williams at Dutch Comic Con, the man behind Lando Calrissian revealed that he is returning to Star Wars Rebels for 2 season three episodes, with recordings taking place within the next 2 weeks.
Fantastic news that not only are we getting the continuation of a great series but that a true Star Wars legend will be right in the thick of the action.
Many thanks to Sander for the information and here's the piece over at the always informative TeeKay-421.

OMG what an ominous title. If something happens to Ahsoka :( Although it could also means Ezra but that seems less likely.

thanks for sharing MJF. looks like multiple cross guards on the ground.. i think Ezra fall leads him to "old master"

i'm reading a new dawn now. not sure where it's going exactly, but so far 120 pages in I like it.
wouldn't mind seeing a flash back to some of it

I wonder if Maul will die for the 16th time. That would be awesome. Then they can bring him back next season, and then keep killing him and bringing him back every season from now until the end of time.

When they went to save Rex they gave up on the pilot because she was dead. They found all those empty snail/crab guy shells in the spider lair, the empty shells that looked a lot like the pilot's empty helmet.

Let's see you hit a 6 inch moving target from 10' - 20' while you yourself are moving too, not as easy as you might think it is. And to add to the difficulty factor they're mostly shooting one handed which is nowhere near as steady as with 2 hands and despite being energy weapons, there clearly is some amount of recoil which makes firing one handed even more difficult.

I think the point in other episodes is they typically shoot a lot better :)

i enjoyed that book. Really shows how it is possible to hide post RotS. Plus good Hera and Kanan action scenes :)

I'm tip toeing in this thread, they showed it in LA today, hopefully no spoilers until tomorrow
