Star Wars: questions you've always wanted answers for

yeah, I always noticed that trooper. he kind of l ooks like he's calmy chatting with his rebel captors too... Hey, extra, the camera is rolling! and I SWEAR there was an alternate angle with a trooper there who had his helmet off....but I might be wrong on that..

Huh?

That trooper IS a Rebel,....& he had his helmet off when Han & co were caught & forced out of the bunker

When they where going into the bunker....I swear I remember a storm trooper with his helmet off and calmy talking to the rebels, or just standing there...

but, of course, I am most probably wrong, and just thinking about the storm trooper in this image..

i never knew that until last night!! i dont have a bluray player but got a new 48" led tv for xmas. i always had a 28" tube tv... believe it or not lol. anyway my girlfriend had her big screen LED tv way before me, and she also had a bluray player. i bought the star wars TO on bluray awhile ago but never had time to watch them. i think ANH and ESB came out beautifully on bluray, but RoTJ is screwy when it comes to the forest, its like they forgot to color the greens... and in jabba's place the aliens are all colorful but the back ground almost gets washed out in grey...

i knew han said he had an idea, but i figured he had a at-st driver hostage, or a rebel trooper put the helmet on, i could hear ford's voice say the line in the at-st and thats when i had to rewind it couple times to check out his face

=

I didn't know that was Han either until I finally got a widescreen version around 98. So don't feel bad. :lol

I didn't think it was harrison either because in the next shot you see him at the ready at the bunker....

I just always assumed it was some hapless trooper thinking they won just because the area was deserted. the walker chewie was in was also gone, so figured it was hidden ;o).

but it makes sense, because then they would have had that new walker to deal with guarding the bunker and couldn't be just randomly standing in front of it waiting for troops..

There was time for Han to get back out of the walker. It's a ways down to the working areas of the facility from the "back door", as shown in the hallway shots.

I think I must have assumed that Han or Chewie were forcing the AT-ST driver to make that call. The voice sounds a little different.

guys, i just watched ROTJ on bluray for the first time with my girlfriend. she has now seen 4,5,6 and 7. i just noticed... is that harrison ford in the AT-ST saying "its over commander, the rebels are defeated and retreating into the forest, send more troops for back up" or something like that?
I've always wondered that too. Looked like him but didn't really sound like him so who knows.

I've finally read all but one of the older cannon EU books...saving Scoundrels for last.

The only ones I really skipped are the two horror novels. are those worth picking up? I never was one much for blood and gore.

Are you talking about "Death Troopers"? If so, IMO, it was skippable. It wasn't super gory or anything, I just wasn't into it.

I enjoyed the Death Troopers Audio book. Thought they did a good job with it. I always recommend it over actually reading the book (blasphemy)! Red Harvest was pretty bad, though. Took me two tries.

yeah, those where the two....

I didn't care for the zombie episode of the clone wars, so I figured it might have been more along those lines, only grosser ;o).

I think there was also athird one with darth maul in prison?

ok guys serious question

was the Death Star 1 and 2 built at the same time?

was the plan to have multiple Death Stars in the galaxy?

I thought that DSII was to replace the destroyed DSI. Considering that they "fixed" the "problem" the first one had, it always seemed to me like this was supposed to be the solution to all their "little rebellion" problems. Why have multiple, when one will do (assuming it doesn't get destroyed in the process)?
