Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

‘Andor’ Season 2: Crafting Cultures, World-Building, and Story All At Once

Watch Tony Gilroy, Diego Luna, Genevieve O'Reilly, and the Season 2 production team break down the Chandrila wedding and the Ghorman Massacre.

This reminds me of how people complain about CG, green screens, and set extension but when you compare this to how to the OT and other films were shot, it's not that different. Instead of a green screen and a CG background/set extension added in post, you'd have nothing and a matte painting added in post. Not much difference, if you ask me.
Same ideas/tricks but using a different tech;)

So, Andor fans: I've posted two meme images about mistaking the the Death Star for the Emperor's New Energy Initiative -- and had them both taken down.

Is there misinterpretation that the mods are imagining?

Finally got around to finishing the second season.

I think the coolest thing this show does, lore-wise, is treat the existence of the death star with deadly seriousness. It looms over the whole plot like a guillotine, even when this show isn't about it - it's still about it. And when the name finally gets dropped, chills.

It's a special kind of feat, to take something that's been a matter-of-fact semi-goofy movie plot point for nearly 50 years and say, well, what if it was actually serious? What if we showed some of the drama and insanity and straight up evil it would take to make something like that happen...

This show is a real marvel. Easily some of the best tv you can watch.
