Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

That was the one series I really liked...I guess my next move will be to plop myself on my friend's couch, since I've cancelled my Disney+ sub :p:p

yea Ive got the 3.75" scale one Disney did, its really good and even extends like he did in the show. There is a SDCC exclusive black series set with Cassian as well.

I’ve been home all day today, and been watching andor. This is my second going, and being honest when I say I’ve slept through most of it the first showing when it aired

I thought Ahsoka was the first series to show live action clone troopers (besides Kenobi series) andor there was a whole group of them!

Not seeing much of my favorite character, Luthen Rael, or the Fondor, or the inevitable confrontation between him and his former best friend Sheev Palpatine.

They were best friends, but as Luthen was a Jedi so they did not see each other much. Sheev secretly hoped Luthen survived Order 66. Luthen, in the end having set the Rebel Alliance up decides to confront Palpatine and we have a chat, some remising, and then an epic saber duel. Luthen fails, but unlike Yoda, he does not go down like a punk and run away.

Okay the last part is my dream, but still. It would be nice to see more of him.

Anyone catch the weird dance with Moth? It looks like when all is said and done the two Star Wars Characters we will know the most about are Andor and Moth Mothma. I know I always hoped that would happen.

And that dork who is obsessed with the Imperial lady. Seriously we know more about him and his mommy issues than Obi Wan Kenobi.

Are we sure this is that good???

Of course not.
Season 1 did just about everything right and was excecuted with confidence and maturity. It was more than lightning in a bottle because all the ingredients were there. The trailer is good at getting me hyped, but I hope they didn't alter the basic tone and literacy of Season 1.
I have faith, but you can never tell. Disney has proven their capacity for ruining a good thing over and over and over and over again.

I for one am more than happy that there aren't any clues they're going for any of the needless fan service or OT character cameos for likes and clicks. That's what made season one so special and Mando S1 too...it's a massive universe and is full of many tiny but important stories outside of the main soap opera that's already been very, very well explored.
Just my tuppence.
