Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

Just my opinion of course, but...the best part of Rogue one was K2-SO and the whole end space battle sequence ending with Vader being terrifying, otherwise it was kind of a mess

I honestly forget most of the movie except for those things

I always fast forward to the end

At one point there was an amazing edit of it that essentially cut out everything except the space battle stuff and that so far has been my favorite version :D

Hopefully they do a better job with the show.

There is a lot of potential, and I love seeing stories that do not involve Jedi set in the Star Wars universe

I want lightsaber blades coming out of my knees! It would look so kewl!!!

You mean Lord Nyax? I agree with Joek3rr, I can't decide if it's stupid or awesome. It does look kind of like Iron Man's one use weapon from Iron Man 2. I'll have to see how it works, but it looks like it stayed on once it was used. If it activated and shut off like Iron Man, it would have made more sense. I definitely don't want to see a flying double bladed lightsaber ship. While it would be a cool surprise weapon, is it any more effective than the ship just shooting them?

How close do you need to get to a ship for it to be effective? And wouldn't the close proximity be hazardous for any bits you've cut off as they slam into your ship?

A lightsaber has to have at least a cameo in a Star Wars movie or show, regardless of whether Jedi or Sith are involved. This was their best attempt, I'm guessing.

As a good friend of mine once said when describing Micheal Bay movies,

"The explosions ARE the characters!"

You k ow what? In 2011 this wasn’t a joke. My good friend Jet Beetle, Paul Hernandez was part of a writers team that were pitching story ideas for a cross over. Paramount and LFL were in negotiations for a crossover.

He swore me to secrecy at the time, but Paul’s now gone and so is the prospect.

I remember vividly the pitch for the movie.

I’ll post a thread sometime to go into detail about it.

I can't say I'm surprised.
The older I get, the more I appreciate "our" Universe being separate from Star Wars'.
I still remember frowning at the ETs in the Senate in the PT. That always bothered me (for some nerdy reason).

Yes please. Post whenever you feel like it. (y)
