Star Wars Andor (Disney+ TV series)

The problem with Jet Beetle is you could give him anything to work with and he would make it work! Imagine if he was lead writer on a SW series. Not a ghost writer, the actual person in charge. He could make the Millennium Falcon do 88.8mph to dine on Tribbles at the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, and it would work.

I'm going to watch one per day for the next couple of days. I liked the first episode. It's good to see a little more of the galaxy beyond the Empire and Rebellion (although no doubt that's where we're heading!).

I appreciated that the bouncer from the gay bar in series 3 of Peep Show has taken his profession into a galaxy far, far away...

I honestly can’t believe it. An episode of a Star Wars television show that I had no qualms, caveats, or even really minor gripes about? If the rest of the show follows the standard set by episode 1, this will be far and away the best of the new Star Wars content.

Yeah but The trouble with Tribbles is...

I just finished the first three episodes. That was incredible, honestly so, so good. And it didn’t use any nostalgia bait at all, not one “hey I’ve seen that before so that means this is good!” Everything was just so good, the props were brilliant, the whole production design, really, the music was engaging and different without just being more of the Mandalorian’s spaghetti western techno. I am so excited for more, I cannot wait.

This show can't be real, it's actually worth watching. But will we get a bacta tank?

Please no bacta tanks.
Please no lightsabers.

But my gut tells me we're in for some baiting and hijinks.

Just a hunch.

That's how badly we've been burned by Disney star wars.

Maybe Andor is the star wars fan and the empire is Disney.

Irony.
