Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

I’ll probably wait and binge it at the end.

More likely I’ll watch it every week and come to this thread with my usual snark.
Just go ahead & give us a Sherlock story that involves the World Between Worlds, then maybe they'll pull it into canon when/if Dave takes over.

LOL

I'll buy two!

Idk...I'm a huge fan of Rebels and Ahsoka in general. Been really looking forward to this show but this trailer hasn't won me over. I really hate to say it, but it's giving me fan film vibes. Poor cinematography and cheap looking choreography. I thought I'd be over the moon about this one, maybe I'm too jaded from my crushing disappointment in Mando s3 that's made me genuinely sad. I'm a fan of Filoni though, hopefully he delivers something special.

Kinda wish this was another animated show, because the animation coming out of Lucasfilm lately is very high-quality. Tales of the Jedi and The Bad Batch look incredibly cinematic and beautiful, and this looks kinda hollow?

I did just noticed a scout trooper helmet tucked away in Sabine's place. Looks like it's got markings on it...I wonder if it's Ezra's from Rebels??

And this shot here of Lothal, Sabine, and Ashoka's shuttle...that's pretty cool. Kinda wild seeing this in live action. Also, I am excited about live action Sabine, she's my favorite of the Rebels crew. I'm digging the long haired look and finally a Mandalorian wearing outfits other than their armor every once in a while!!

Just realized that bearded seemingly darksider character is none other than Ray Stevenson! If you don't know who he is, go out and watch both seasons of Rome! So excited to see who he's playing! I doubt it's C'baoth.

Kinda funny seeing this show made up almost entirely of new characters outside of the OT. Which reminds me... i wonder if we'll ever get some kind of explaination of what all these people were doing during the OT. Still seems weird that Ahsoka just sat out of everything at that time for some reason.

Ahsoka is such an awkward fit. Shows up out of nowhere for The Clone Wars, conveniently disappears for Revenge of the Sith. Pops up during the Dark Times, then is gone again for the OT. Shows up after everything is done, just to disappear again for the Sequels....

Her forced inclusion in the Clone Wars is hard enough pill for me to swallow these days, let alone everything else she's in.

Well he has put her in 4 other shows just to make sure you end up liking her ;)

I agree. I don't hate her but I have never been a particular fan of Ahsoka. I think it is largely in part because Filoni has made her such an important character to the extent that it's odd she's not around when it seems to matter most. I never liked the idea Anakin had an apprentice that had never been mentioned and it has just continued from there. As a character she's fine? but it just all feels really weird.

I am glad I was an adult with children of the perfect age to like the clone wars and rebels at the time.
I have good memories of those shows and am excited to see them in live action with the kids now grown( mostly). Maybe some of The Who/what/when/where will be answered maybe not. But presently I am excited and all in for this.

If they're messing around with time travel in the world between worlds, they could very easily explain away why shes not present for other important stuff during the OT. It's a good mcguffin to fix a lot of stuff.

Maybe so. Who even needs Luke Skywalker if Ahsoka was around!
