First look at Sabine in her armor...

A minor point, but do we think the hologram of Mon Mothma was a flashback or older recording? I noticed she looks exactly the same as she did in Andor rather than her appearance in RotJ, even down to her hairstyle?

That's probably it.

Hera was in that scene. REBELS would be occuring directly before ROGUE ONE, & Hera was a General in that movie. You heard her name over the intercom & saw the Ghost outside the temple & in the battle.

I'm not sold on Thrawn's look so far, I think they should have chosen someone with a more severe profile sort of like Peter Cushing's angular features. Every depiction of Thrawn had that look. This guy is a good actor, so it might work out. I'm more curious about how they kept the blue makeup off the white grand admiral uniform!

I think, as far as looks, the girl playing Sabine is perfect. I've never seen her act, so no clue about that.

The thing that gives me hope is that I heard that Dave Filoni had Timothy Zahn consult on Thrawn to make sure they portrayed him correctly. I think if they had done something similar with Lucas on the Sequels, they might have no turned out as trash as they did.

I still think Julian Sands would have made a perfect Thrawn. But not only has that ship sailed, I'm rather afraid he's dead out in the mountains. He went missing a couple of months ago, now. I'm just not seeing Lars in that role. *shrug* For that matter, I hate his voice and delivery in Rebels.

That or he's currently flying around Utah looking for a certain book in the Great Salt Flats....

Seriously though: for his and his family's sake, I hope they find him alive.

I actually always thought Thrawn tended to be depicted with a strong jawline with traditionally "handsome" features. That said, I feel Lars Mikkelson has prominent, high cheekbones that more approximates how he looked in Rebels, etc., though admittedly not as severe as Cushing's rather unique features. lol!

My personal head cannon choice for Thrawn would be Fassbender but I understand he is way to well known and recognizable and possibly too younge.

If it's an E-Wing, it looks like they removed that idiotic laser canon over the cockpit. I always thought that was stupid because it would have to fold up to get in the cockpit.

So now theres' Inquisitors a decade after the Empire fell and Jedi are supposedly mostly gone? Unless this is part of some flashback or World Between Worlds shenanigans.
