Anyone else think there's a big scaling problem with the Chimaera docking with the hyperspace ring on the planet surface? The lower part of the ring should have been buried in the ground. Why not have it dock in space instead?
Believe it or not... I ACTUALLY have a complaint. It's the uncertainty of when the story could continue.
As I watched it, it was in the back of my head that many wouldn't like the massive cliffhangers, & I was wondering if I would be disappointed about it or not... & I was. I think for me it's because with other shows I enjoyed in years past, there was a certainty that we'd be back in the fall, but that's not how it is anymore.
I know for statistics, this wouldn't work for D+, but while I enjoyed AHSOKA, I see the pacing issues some didn't like & wonder if the show wouldn't have been better presented as three 90-minute 'films' like The Continental is currently doing or like SHERLOCK did on BBC.
My only REAL disappointment was the real world heartbreak of Ray not being able to complete his strong portrayal of Baylan. That one hurt.

After watching the entire series here are my Pro's and Con's (Not that it matters...lol)
Pro's:
1. The heavy Anakin episode(Interaction and symbolism between Ahsoka and Anakin was well written and produced)
2. The original pacing of the first few episodes(Too rushed towards the end like always)
3.Baylan (Character has mystery, intrigue, well acted and makes you want to know more)
4.Ahsoka(Love the portrayal by Rosario Dawson. She can pull the character off just by facial expressions and is believable...not easy to do)
Con's:
1. The overall writing(Nothing got resolved, rushed and incomplete)
2.C-o-n-t-i-n-u-i-t-y(Don't get me started)
3.Supporting Cast(Boring except for Baylan)
4.Thrawn(This wasn't the Thrawn i was looking for)
5.The Witches(Please!!...felt weird to me, not Star Wars to me)
6.Storyline wasn't strong enough except relationship between Ahsoka and Anakin
7.The overall filming felt cheap, cheesy, not gritty especially compared to the OT or even Mando season 1&2(I know..i hate CGI and the modern way so none of this feels right to me)
8. I can keep going but don't want to sound repetitive...But do all these characters have selective memory? Like, no one knows what happened with Luke, Vader or the Emperor but knows Anakin was a "Master" even though he wasn't especially Thrawn...Dude, you're the Grand Admiral and seem dumber than a pile of rocks! Ok, one last dig...Is it just me or does Hera, Ezra and Sabine feel like cosplay gone bad? None of them seem like the charcters on Rebels to me and
Ezra going to Disney's Savi's to build a lightsaber?...ugh.
..oh, and i want the old style lightsabers back...these new ones remind me of duels with hasbro FX ones. Even the Prequel lightsaber fights felt way more authentic!
Absolutely! The choreography is award-worthy. My jaw hit the floor.
I liked the "head-tip" ( ) moment. I just thought, hey, when they are dealing with zombies, you should definitely start cutting off heads. A fine moment, the nicest chop since Count Dooku's.
Overall I really liked the episode. And the moment with Baylan was awesome.
Now seeing this statue raises several questions. Does that mean that the Mortis family and the witches are related? Do they both originate from this distant galaxy? If yes, why did they decide to expand their "realm"? Did they do it just for curiosity or because their home galaxy was devastated and they were looking for a new place to conquer, destroy or live in? Or is this new galaxy the source of everything else and the Force in particular?
They could in fact bring Baylan back by pretending him to enter the Mortis temple, experience some major Force encounter and leave in a completely new body, a bit like a regenerated Baylan like they do with Doctor Who. That would solve the different actor issue.
The lightsabers looked very good to me. I think they figured out how to "realistically" make them glow, like in the old days. Not quite there yet but fairly close.
Wait...I thought the show was called ANAKIN: "Master" of AHSOKA...as if if they didn't try to "force" that down everyones throat..."We do not give you the rank of Master"...fine...i'll train a padawan that not even Master Yoda or Obi-wan will know about before i turn to the dark side and Obi-wan won't ever mention her...neither will Yoda..(oh wait a minute.."There is anotherrrrr" )He must have been talking about her...lol
After losing his arm and seeing the fall of the Republic, he lived with a tribe of Jawas in self-imposed exile.
When it became clear that the New Republic needed him now more than ever, he comes out of retirement and leads the charge to combat a new evil threat that has arisen. (Thrawn?)
