Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

Every scene with Ray Stevenson is a joy, but it makes me very sad he is no longer with us. Is it selfish to want to know more, and even more selfish to think Ahsoka season 2 could recast and continue to give us his backstory? I highly doubt they will wrap up his motive with only two more episodes?!?!

Wow. This felt so fresh. Even though we got a lot of known characters, it finally felt like we are pushing into new territory here. With Thrawn, the Great Mothers, and Enoch added to Morgan, Baylan, and Shin, the bad guys are soooo interesting. I really loved the new lore, designs, and creatures we got this episode. This whole episode felt very Star Warsy in how it managed to have a serious tone, but also be fantastical and adventurous.

I love getting more of Baylans motivations. He’s after something big on this planet. Its possible Thrawn isnt gonna be the big baddie of this entire story. Baylan claims they are running from a power greater than their own. If Baylan unleashes whatever he’s after on the other galaxy, Thrawn may need to ally Ahsoka and company to stop it.

Also, Kevin Kiner is killing it with the music.

Speaking of Baylan's "calling", I've seen some on the Star Wars Leaks discussion thread theorizing that whatever is calling Baylan and seemingly pushing away Thrawn/The Nightmothers is the same "source of the Dark Side" that Palpatine mentions calling to him from beyond the Unknown Regions in the Aftermath trilogy. That "source of the Dark Side" is as of yet unexplained and the previous theories of it being Snoke or Exegol have been disproven

What's with the weird "cult" troopers?

Are thy supposed to be zombies or something?

and that "face" helmet was freaky

Also maybe it was just me, but when they were flying to the spot with the night witches it felt like I was watching the landing scene in Prometheus. Like someone thought that was a cool scene and just subbed in Star Wars stuff into it
