Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

after being totally cut off from the internet since Tuesday I was finally able to watch it last night and thankfully power held up while hurricane lee passed through

One thing I’d like to say from my experience the “cheapest way possible” is a thing of the past for the Disney prop department

Disney prop department budget is huge, I have very good friends in the industry and what they are given for a budget is incredible..

And I’m not just talking weapons and armor.. the creature department is wicked insane…

Look at Kenobi for instance, the department spent thousands on gathering fan made examples, thousands on master replicas.. thousands to rip them apart and modify them

I’ve also been told by a close friend how during the departments search for sabers he brought a few of his replicas in to let them borrow for examples.. never got them back and when asked for them back, was given a check that you wouldn’t believe…

So our mindset of “needs to be the cheapest way possible” is a thing of the past today…

Took me awhile to believe it myself but now it completely makes sense talking with my friends who do this for a living

Judging by ahsokas mash-up saber, I wouldn’t be surprised if anakins is scratch built as well

as for the episode I thought it was good. Still wicked confused on the whole world between world thing

How did Ahsoka enter it? What the hell is going on in there? She’s dreaming? The force toying with her? That’s definitely not the real Anakin or at least that’s how I interpreted it.. I hope to ****** that’s not him

Since ahsoka has the “sister” in her, does this mean she can’t die? She can just jump into TWBW every time now?

Idk…. Never been a fan of TWBW stuff

I use to get all upset about this “new stuff” but that’s exactly what it is, “new Star Wars” I personally think this is the best show we have gotten yet, and excepted it “it is what it is”

Huge huge fan of the new chopper.. I love that damn prop..

How does everyone feel about traveling in the whales mouth? A little pinocchio? l thought they were going to pull a millennium falcon and attach the ships to the whales backs or something…

Surprised hera didn’t go and ahsoka is going in alone on this..

Curious what happens next episode.. I’m still banking we don’t see thrawn until ep8.. and possibly not seeing ezra at all..
Interesting to hear they just took someone’s property like that. Poor behaviour by them in my opinion.

My interpretation (others will vary widely) is that Anakin is really there but as a manifestation of himself through the Force. That Ahsoka wasn’t in the WBW as such, but as she was slipping away to die, she was moving more into the Force which then helps Anakin appear.

Yes I think she can still die.

I got major Jonah vibes from it, but that may be what Filoni was shooting for.

I think we’ll see him sooner than that, but perhaps not Ezra until the last moments. Especially as i’ve seen reports this will link to the Filoni film, which has not been a thing I liked hearing since the Marvel disappointments.

Another wait until D+ premiere.

So, was this where Jedi go when they go to The Force or where?

AND, I finally got my question answered about Ahsoka's "hairline.":)
I’m still so lost buddy… I thought it was TWBW, maybe Filoni will come out and explain

I hate when stuff like this has to be explain outside the show..

I've always wondered about this. So, for example, if they used one of Roman's props, do they have to compensate him or get his 'permission' even if they buy one of his sabers second-hand?

Eric Voss over at New Rockstars did his homework, and even before Episode 5 aired, he had the WBW figured out, as well as the Anakin "ghost".

His explanation makes a lot of sense, and it is accompanied by a lengthy explanation of the WBW by Dave Filoni. Contrary to what some fans hoped and what some fans feared, the WBW is NOT a time-travel chamber. It's much more akin to Yoda's cave in ESB.

Here's the clip. Enjoy! It made me a feel a lot better.

Wicked appreciate it

Anyone else think uncle kylo slices up little jacen in Luke’s temple?
I hate that writers cannot decide if Ben actually kills any of the students at the temple by hand or if all the deaths are caused by the lightning strike that they also can't decide on if he summoned it or if it was Snoke/Palpatine.

What was Ahsoka-Dib doing in the world of Tron (The Grid)???

Does “I’m good / I’m bad / I’m good / I’m bad / I’m good”…” Mannequin Skywalker now fight for the users? Or, is he a pawn of the Master Controller???

Or, did we see Mannequin’s blissful—and thus, sand-free—heaven????

I have so many questions.

In my head kylo killed them

No once you buy something you can do what you want with it. Studios obscure labels often because theoretically you can be sued by a manufacturer for making a product look bad to potential consumers, but they cant stop you from simply having something in the show.

For example, Frost River didnt sue Lucasfilm for using their label removed bags in Dial of Destiny. They sued because the promotional campaign misled people into thinking the bags had been made by Filson.

Appreciate the support for the loss of my friend guys, it’s been a rough week for sure.

What do we all think about the live Clone Wars? The phase 1 troopers looked a bit off, and “chunky” as they ran. My wife joked that they ran like her, LOL.

Rex was super cool to see, and given they have the costumes now, maybe he will pop up again in future content.

Edit: Just wish they would have aged Ahsoka from her first battle flashback to the Siege of Mandalore.

I still prefer the original CG clones over real world clones.
Yeeeaaahhh... I really enjoyed seeing them, but I'm so used to the almost impossible physiology of the animated shows & action figures, they looked unusual, but realistic.

Almost like looking at women in 90's comics, then seeing a real woman & saying, "That doesn't look right.".

LOL
