Star Wars Ahsoka (tv series)

Gah don't get me started on the Disney version of Inquisitors... They should have kept them more like the EU versions where they were more Force using intelligence officers who tracked Jedi and then Vader killed/captured them. Usually they were too weak to go against a fully trained Jedil

I saw something today that says the two characters with orange lightsabers are "Jedi" of some type. The older one supposedly is an Order 66 survivor who is working as a mercenary. Having a former Jedi, unless they are Dark Side users, working for the Empire makes zero sense. I think they are trying to have Thrawn have access to a Force user like C'boath in the novels.

I missed it, but evidently the new footage that recreates the epilogue of REBELS has Sabine wearing Ezra's lightsaber. If this is it, she's apparently modified it.

Looks like it might not have a skinny neck anymore.

For comparison, here's the Legacy Saber released by Disney...

EDIT EDIT EDIT

I'M AN IDIOT... TBH, it looks more like she's carrying Kanan's than that she modified Ezra's

If it is, she's modded it as well, which fits with Sabine.

Sabine could've replaced the kyber crystal in Kanans saber but I don't think she's force sensitive so she would probably have difficulty doing that.

I'm just wondering how they are going to make Sabine dueling with a former Jedi look like it makes sense. A good duelist can fight a Jedi, but a Jedi is using the Force to anticipate your possible moves. I would think unless the non Force user was just a master duelist, the Force user would always have the upper hand.

Curious about that myself.

It would open up a great question about 'training'. Since Kanan was able to teach her how to use the Dark saber, she clearly showed an aptitude for dueling with a weapon that can be hard to control. If Ahsoka has continued to train her, then she could be fairly proficient.

That would then bring in a question from some as to why Ahsoka would train Sabine but not Grogu. I think that's answered by the fact that Sabine would just be training to use the saber, whereas Grogu was needing to be trained as a full Jedi.

Either way, I'm here for it. REBELS was incredible.

Who've the villainous force users been dueling against the last several years? If Sabine was dueling ashoka every day for the last few years, she'd be much more up to speed than someone on the fringes of the galaxy going up against nobodies with blasters, no?

Great point!
