Star Trek: Strange New Worlds

Your wording is confusing, it sounds like you are referencing "garbage" in the released footage of Strange New Worlds, but your examples are Discovery and Picard, which are not inside Strange New Worlds.
What we've already seen from modern Paramount, being Discovery and Picard. We really haven't seen anything substantive out of SNW yet.

5th post.

It's now up on YouTube:

If that’s the final version of the show intro, it’s pretty bland and derivative, to me.

If you combined this…

With this…

But slowed the speed down, chose some very non-dynamic shots, and added a soundtrack from an early 2000s video game intro…

You get the “Strange New Worlds” intro.

I like it. Referential and reverential. But again, as someone who never got into TOS because it could never hit the suspension of disbelief right for me, I am probably an outlier in not caring if the nacelles are shaped right or if the saucer section is too elongated or if the uniforms are the correct shade of whatever. Granted, I have not actually seen that much bagging on the ship like the one in the JJ movies got. I digress.

I also enjoy Discovery and Picard.

Feel free to join in, doesn't make it any less true that an answer was not given and is being actively avoided.
No, you were just being obtuse. As others have said, it should have been bloody obvious to anyone paying any attention at all. It's being made by the exact same people who are making other crap Star Trek shows and the only reason it's being made at all is because the others have terrible ratings and aren't making any money. They figure that making it LOOK like classic Trek will be enough to bamboozle existing fans but it won't if it has the same kind of post-modern sensibilities that has ruined so many movies and TV series in modern times. Just because they brought back Arnold Schwarzenegger and Linda Hamilton in Terminator: Dark Fate, where they were trying to do the same thing, that didn't make it a good movie. Bringing back Pike and the Enterprise won't make this good either.

If we have to explain it to you like you're 5, maybe that's a "you" problem.
