That makes to much senseOne would think right?
Instead of trying to sell new items maybe you should complete paid orders first.
To that end...
I received two very strange emails from “Brent B.” at Anovos that were probably fired off in error as it refers to an unspecified item they sell—an unspecified item that is referred to as currently being out-of-stock—but they want to offer me a “coveted reservation spot” on this unspecified item with an unspecified fulfillment date. This appears to be a form email that can be used to drop the names of various out-of-stock items into to generate business, I suppose?
The email reads as follows:
Hello there --
I noticed you didn't reply to my last email, so I'm forwarding it to you again. Let me know if you're still interested in this offer.
Kind Regards,
Brent B.

I have one I bought secondary market. It does not have this problem but I heard some of the first run has/had gold paint issues that simply deteriorated while stored or displayed. It didn’t cure correctly or? While I was fairly happy with it it could have some much better without Allen keys and the inclusion of sound IMO. Also the plain brown box was also a disappointment.Since I don't believe I will ever receive my Discovery phaser from Avovos, going on 2 years waiting, I decided to purchase another one from a third party seller who happened to have several in stock. I received it with in 2 business days but when I opened the box I noticed the phaser 1 rising hood was sticking up.
I rolled the release knob and it popped up the rest of the way, I closed it and it was still sticking half way up. So I initiated a return and ordered another one from the same seller. Opened the box and the same thing. This whole batch must be defective! Though the second one is better, it still doesn't look like the promo pictures.
Part of the problem is the spring inside is too long and it pushes too hard on the hood not letting it lay flat when closed, the second problem is that the release is not formed so it can grab the hood deep enough and hold it down flat in the closed position. Being that the 2nd one I got is much better than the 1st one I think I can modify the mechanism inside so it will hold the hood down flush.
Now I'm not only concerned about whether or not I will receive my $500 phaser, but now quality issues are a major concern as well.
Everything else about the phaser is great! I am pleased with the quality, fit and finish. I expected it to be lightweight since I read that it was made from 3D printing like the Screen used ones, but it is a hollowed up resin shell so it has a really nice weighty feel to it.
I did have a little trouble getting the battery meter to work because I didn't realize it required a 3rd battery. Its obvious that it takes two batteries on the top of the magazine, but not very obvious that another one goes in the bottom as well. Reading the directions might have saved me a few minuets of grief there, but who reads directions anyways?
This is the first one with the hood in fully closed position.

I think Anovos is pretty much dead, or company moral has gone down the toilet.
They have stopped responding to support messages for the past 2-1/2 months now.
They are not even bothering to clean up complaints off their Facebook page any more.
But they are still sending out email adds to by Mandalorian helmets, must be a a battery operated distress beacon or something.
They have big green IN STOCK stickers on many items but who's going to fall for that?
I ordered my item 2 years ago, they announced they were shipping these out last spring, mine is still UN-FULFILLED.
Anyone would be insane to give them any money.
Still waiting for my Battlestar Galactica Colonial Warrior Jacket
Their last update assured everyone it would ship out Spring of 2019!
Yeah right!
I wonder what the next “Late” update will assure us of....![]()
When I saw the box on my front step, it was about 14x12 inches, but only about 2-1/2 inches tall, at first I thought it was the stand. When I opened it the phaser parts were surrounded by thick foam on the sides but the top and bottom only had one 2mm thick piece of foam between the phaser the box.
I pulled the phaser out and immediately saw two small fragments sitting at the bottom of the box.
They cheaped out and packed it in the smallest box with almost no protection! Of course, it's going to break! Just shows how little they care.
I sent an email to support and called the phone number in the email and an automated message came on saying the magic Jack customer is not available, please leave a message. so I left a message, still no response. I never heard of a magic jack so I looked it up, it's a cheap device that you can plug into a computer USB port and get phone service with no monthly fee.
I'm devastated! after waiting 720 days and finally getting it, only to open the box and find it broken because of careless packing.
