Done / Completed Star Lord Quad Blasters (Guardians of the Galaxy)

I'd be in for the next run for a finished pair. These look great so far, can't wait to see what a fully finished one looks like.

What made you decide to change the design of the gold and silver couplers? Molding considerations?

There's been a lot of interest in these over the last few days (and rightfully so with the success of the film!). As I mentioned before, I'll keep a list going of those that are interested, and I'll reach out to everyone once I'm all caught up.

Also, I have several kits that are flawed in some way and I was considering offering those up at a discounted price. Would that be of interest to anyone?

I'd be happy with a flawed to to 'fix' up and make it 'pretty', definitely! Stick me down for a raw cast or 2 flawed or 1 flaw/1 raw cast.

Very possibly, depending on price and just what the flaws are. As much as I would love to buy one of your beautiful sets, current finances just don't allow it. :( But getting a discounted set might be within my budget! :)

I'd be looking to get some by mid-october? Should I jump on the wagon for 1st batch, or would a second one go out by mid October?

Thanks

Nice work! What's the availability list like? Your first post seems to show some slots left, but the last few posts seem to suggest that there may not be? Definitely interested.

and in this as well.

Alright, sorry I didn't get to this last night. Here are the flawed pieces. I have two near complete sets right now, and just need to cast one more lower body and grips to make it three.

These were cold cast trials (and tribulations!) and mostly suffer from some bubbles at the rear that need to be filled with your choice of body filler. The bubbles on the under side will mostly be covered by the grip and other detail parts, so not as much work needed there as it looks. Even though these were cold cast, there are striations and patches of bare resin rather than aluminum, so these will most likely need to be painted, unless you go for a pretty worn battle damaged look.
