Wasili sent me my refund about an hour ago, as promised, with the addition of about 5% extra to compensate for PayPal fees.
Whew. A nine-month ordeal, over at last. :wacko

As to not having heard a peep from Wasili: I'm just speculating, but his pattern seems to be to communicate only with the person who is scheduled for the next refund.
GF, you might like to drop Wasili an e-mail. That's what I did when I became next in line, and he got back to me pretty quickly with a promised date for my refund.

He's refunding and it's happening more or less on time. He's got over half of you refunded at this point.
Maybe it's just time to drop it.
I apologize for my crankiness these days, but this board is just dead. When modeling is discussed, it's usually only about what people would like to do or see done rather than what IS being done. Relatively few here are really doing anymore... at least in these modeling sections. It reads like a 'wish list' around here rather than a 'do' list!
I come on here to read and see people's progress and more and more I find threads about how people are being ripped off. At least in this case there's somewhat of a positive outcome.
Come on, people. Build stuff, post it up and give this board life again!

This is true on every forum I visit. No matter what the subject matter. I think the internet is killing most of our hobbies.
I know mine has suffered more and more over the last ten years.
But it is not entirely bad for people to see the mess they can get into by paying up front for stuff that doesn't exist yet. It's great to see SMT get back into the swing again. But there is some serious trust rebuilding that needs to be done.

With all due respect HS, he doesn't have any of your money, so your opinion doesn't weigh much with the rest of us still waiting. I don't mean any disrespect by that, but their are a few people still on the list under a significant amount of stress right now. It's hard to sink more money into your hobby when hundreds of dollars are already being held hostage. Unless you are one of the ones still waiting, let's try leave this thread clear, out of a mutual respect if you guys don't mind.
