Safely received with thanks, Wasili.
I am truly sorry that things fell apart the way they did, particularly because I felt we hit it off so well at first. I would not have been so angry if I had not felt personally betrayed -- not by your failure to deliver the Landspeeder (anybody can get in over one’s head, and I don’t blame you for that), but rather by your failure to communicate. I felt that we had developed the beginnings of a nice Cyber-friendship that might even lead to a face-to-face friendship someday (since we share a connection to Japan). I’ll not drag you through a recap of how my feelings of friendship turned to those of betrayal. Rather, I’d just like to thank you again for making good on the refund and to take back my vitriolic words from an earlier message, as promised. I think you are a good man and a talented modeler, Wasili. I hope that in future transactions, you will make a concerted effort to communicate regularly with your clients, especially after they have sent you money. It’s such a shame for a good guy like you to make enemies and lose face simply because you won’t take a few minutes to post to the site.
I’m going to post to the thread now to let everyone know that you have made good on your promise of a refund.
Best of luck to you in the future.
