Luke's Lightsaber Mando series finale.

LOL dude i freakn love you LOL 24 hours later and you already have a model

We really don't have much to go on. But that didn't stop me from playing around with what I see so farView attachment 1380217

Definitely reminds me of a shower curtain hook that I use to hang my jeans with. More like they crimped it to make it narrow?
all joking aside you reminded me i need to buy new shower curtain hooks.. mine are rusted to hell

**** me too.

Dan great work - is the concensus that its completely scratch built, since the pommel ring is like at 5 o clock or whatever? I do like this version, and am hoping the emitter plate is wider or the 2nd step is not as thick... cause.. ergh

Check it

Great shots!

Really looks like they tried to emulate the Norank, down to what looks like the same type of weathering on the black buttons.

Am I seeing greyish t-tracks though? Might just be shadows.

Wow!! nice shots. Keep in mind how shallow the box buttons must be and/or wide the brass rails are from the top shot of that box. They are barely seen sticking out the side. This is a quite a difference
which matches the Rylo and the shot by Joek3rr above..looks really close

Would the tall emitter sections be an optical illusion then? The control box looks like a dead on match, you're right

I’m now 99.9% sure they used a Rylo reveal for the belt hanger... not sure about the practical bladed.
That does pose a bit of a pickle with Efx too and replication

If it was somehow confirmed/verified a Rylo reveal was used in the Mandalorian, wouldn't it then be recasting for anyone on the RPF to replicate or reverse-engineer the screen-used saber for production/sales since the original was made by a fellow RPF'er?

Everything is a dead match for the belt hanger... and yes James Kenobi 1138 that is the troubling implication to consider

Rylo any thoughts? IF it is a fan made replica seen in the episode, my perspective is that as soon as we cross into the realm of using reference material that isn’t seen on screen in the episode or behind the scenes material it would be recasting. That is to say, as soon as we take measurements from the replica or even reference photos of the replica not from Mandalorian production.

Also didn’t coolhanluked work on the show? Perhaps he could provide some insight.
