if you check out the image of the raimi style frames in the first post, you can see the fine aluminum mesh which is always an option for any of the frames. You can use metallic silver spray paint if you want them shinier.

Thank you for the reply. Also, I'm looking to order your faceshell and McFarlane lenses with a domed lense.

Do you have a picture of the McFarlane lenses on a suit?

These are on an MCF style suit I had made a while back. The lenses I used are the fine aluminum mesh (you can see it on the first post) that was painted white and sandwiched between 2 pieces of clear acrylic.

I think I'd like to have a slightly different shape to them when I get back to the states. I'm trying to do a Ben Reilly Spider-Man next though and a McFarlane afterwards. I feel like the Reilly slide are large like the McFarlane but don't have the little bit on the inside of the eye...but I'd like to get a set of McFarlane for a future but think I'd like to see if you could do them slightly different. Thanks for the quick reply.

Hi TJack
I have been following your lenses for quite a while now and I'm interested in the ASM1 lenses and faceshell if that is possible. I don't really know which size I prefer, which one is the most movie accurate? (Because accuracy is what it's all about, haha). If I'm not mistaking, it's $40 lenses and $60 for the faceshell, right?

Thanks in advance

Antoine

Hey Antoine, the smaller ones are closer in size to the movie version. Yes, the lenses/frames are $40 and the shell is $60 + shipping. When you are ready to order just send me a pm and I'll provide the payment info.

After countless requests I have FINALLY re-worked the Raimi frames to make them more accurate. They still aren't 100% but I'm really happy with how they look. This pic has a piece of the fine aluminum mesh behind it as a lens. I think the mesh with a piece of clear acrylic over it will look fairly close to the movie :thumbsup

I have a few questions since I am kind of new to using a faceshell. How do you guys usually tell where to put the eye holes for the faceshell and what tool do you use? I'm sure the answer is a dremel, I would just like to make sure first before I mess it up. Last question, What different methods do you guys use to place the lenses on the mask and faceshell?

Thanks guys :)

Will any metallic spray paint do, like primer?

I need to get a dremel. My eye cutting technique involves small holes drilled in the shape I want the eye hole then taking a blade and cutting inbetween. It works but it's messy. I'll going to get a dremel soon.

You can use any paint you like, just be sure to clean the material first to remove anything that may affect the paint
