Do you stretch and pin the print on the table before you paint, or do you just lay it flat go?

We lay it out and pin it. Not stretch it because the puffy paint itself can stretch afterwards. If we were to stretch the fabric to paint, then it would bunch up the paint when the fabric would un-stretch. so not good. Just lay it out flat and pin it
