Mine just came in the mail today! Thanks again man, this thing looks great! Not that you need it, but I highly recommend anybody on the fence about El Fett to go ahead and order with full confidence in quality, communication, and deadlines.

when you do your painting of the bricks or honey combs do you stretch the material or just make sure it is naturally flat???same question for the webbing ... naturally flat or stretched???

Re: Spider-man suit assembly/detailing services "we can puffy paint your suit!" Now O

Laid out, not stretched.

Not trying to be condescending - just think about it for a minute.

Stretching the material in a uniform fashion section by section would be, in a word, difficult. More like very difficult, especially since the suit would stretch differently in different areas of the body when actually worn. Secondly, if you accomplished that, when the suit wasn't stretched (aka when you're not wearing it) the puff paint would "accordion" up on to itself which would probably be disastrous.

Hope that helps explain why you just need to lay it out nice and flat :)

I am getting one of his suits ... that is why i asked what is best for you to work on sewn or un sewn . i think unsewn there is some details you cannot complete and look seamless cause unsewn it would be up to the seamstress to make your work look seamless which in my opinion is harder to do .?I also notice most do not paint there blue section?do you think it is better unpainted compared to painted???

- - - Updated - - -

when i first started out on asm1 suits it was said to stretch the material and pin it to a board etc paint it .. so that when you put the suit on it would be less restricting...

Super late to the party, but just read through all of these posts trying to get an idea of what the queue is like.

I just bought one of Orhadars patterns, namely the miles morales ultimate Spiderman, and am trying to get it turned around within the next two weeks. Plan on having it printed locally. Looking to get the red webbing puffy painted, as well as the front and back spider with your awesome dragonskin silicone technique.

Can pay in full upfront, you guys have a great reputation here. Will pm you to see what my options are.
