Spider-Man Homecoming Homemade Suit with Moving Goggles WIP

Hey everyone!
Next month I'll be going to New York Comic Con as Spider-Man— but (like the title implies) as the hooded homemade version Peter makes.

I love this costume. Honestly, I wish he didn't get the Stark suit back in the end.

Anyways, I noticed that while a lot of people have been making this costume, not many have tried to make the eyes move— which is why I wanted to post my progress on that aspect here (along with the rest of the costume, but mainly focusing on the eyes.)

Here is a very very very rough MK I prototype

I need thinner styrene. And to get better at cutting styrene.
I originally had two more shutters (one more on the top, one more on the bottom) but one of the shutters broke during a test.
Currently working on MK II, and the eventual plan is to motorize it.
Would love your guy's thoughts on this

Hoodie
*EDIT* the hoodie was a bad option. I'm now thinking about just getting a red hoodie, some ribbed fabric, brass zipper + aglets, and custom tailoring/modifying the hoodie to look like the one in the movie. Will post the hoodie I use when I find a good one.

I don't know how I feel about this shirt. It's the one everyone else is using, but I feel like the one in the movie is more of a greyish light blue (I know it was custom made, just trying to find the best match). Will be on lookout for better shirt.

I'm still looking for gloves that will work with what I have in mind (I plan on putting controls for the goggles under the gloves, but I feel like the palms of the SA ones will be too thick) and I'm working on finding some good sockwas since their sold out on Amazon. I'll put links when I find good ones.

If anyone finds better options that what I posted above, don't keep it to yourself!

Your Idea looks good, But why don't you try the exact replica Spiderman Homecoming Hoodie? i checked that its on sale on Amazon and eBay from different sellers in cheap price and the cost of your home made hoodie and replica hoodie will be same i think

It's barely a replica. There's two separate pieces, but this "exact replica" is all sewn together. Plus the emblem looks manufactured and not homemade.

Thank you for your suggestion, but doctorDWwho and matthewdelacruz pretty much summed up about what I was going to say. And if it's going to cost the same, I'd rather do my own since then it will actually LOOK homemade instead of having a printed spider on it.
Also, I believe those hoodies are already sleeveless, and I need the sleeves for the mask.

Your eye prototype has a really nice look to it! I wonder if adding a servo motor would be over complicating things? A cable mechanism running from your mask down the sleeve and to your hand could be simpler and maybe even rigged up in a way such that the "thwip!" hand gesture could activate it. Look up cable controlled puppets and masks to see examples of the mechanism.

I thought about that (that's pretty much how it works now, pre-motor)— but then I realized it would make taking off the mask a bit complicated/impossible (but I will do it as a last resort if all else fails, then just tuck the mask into my hoodie or something.)
My current plan is a combination of cables and servo motor. A small box with the servo/receiver/batteries will be located on the back/neck of the mask (around where the hoodie is to conceal the shape of the box) and a cable from each eye will be fed into the box, and the cables will be pulled/released by the servo.

How did you control the eye lids? I noticed a string/wire in the video, but I can't figure out how and where you put it. I already designed and 3d printed out my own eyes and lenses, but I am struggling with this.
