Meanwhile, time for my most boring update yet..!

Boiling plastic, gluing in place and trimming off the excess, that's about the extent of the drama here. Seeing as how everything is going to be sanded smooth later, I don't even feel the need to be particularly neat. But I'm not gonna skip over it, since it's part of the tale!

About the only thing worth mentioning is how I trimmed the edges of the adjoining pieces as straight intersecting cuts, basically an extremely flat 'V' shape. This seemed to be the easiest way to trim pieces to fit together. I could just basically eyeball the fit of each piece as I went along.

I can never tell. If somebody says "I like you 2 guy's stuff", that's an easy one. "Wow" is a little harder to pin down!

So, I have purchased some figures to be heavily adapted. They are 1/35 scale and are 5.25cm tall or a hair's width over 2 inches tall. Does that sound like it would work in your model, Bob? ;)

I'm on it! They are all standing figures so, I am having to adapt two of them to a sitting position. I will leave their lower legs on and you can cut them to fit if you need to! :)

That should be interesting! At the very least, it'll be miles beyond any lame attempt I'd made at making figures!:wacko

After tonight my work week ends, so with luck I'll be able to get back to my build tomorrow!:)

To be honest, my wife has beads everywhere at the moment so, I don't really have the room to do what I need to. At least this way, I can still do something, and we still have your build to enjoy! Enough said! :)
