That is great, I love miniature props. Years ago I made a few 1:6 scale props, a grail diary, graflex lightsabre, and an ANH Hero DL-44. Pics are probably long gone but I bet the thread is still around..
Oh, I made a ESB Luke belt, and ANH solo too.
Thants awesome! I don’t think I’m going to do much more than this c96 to be honest. It was very tedious just bringing this one to life but I’d love to see your 1:6 props if it’s still possible. Would you mind sharing the link to the thread?

chubsANDdoggers here ya go, not much to see, just know they were very accurate. ;)

…and the grail diary.

I’m sorry but no pics or tiny props left in my collection, it was 17 yrs ago…
they were kitbashed from various things like an old wallet, soda can, a 1:6 Mauser c96 from an accessory pack, I remember modifying a german potato masher grenadine to make the scope…

scarf man unfortunately it looks like none of the pics survived over time. 17 years ago!? Wow. Time flies but damn I wish I could see these now. I’m sure they where and are still pretty epic!

They were a fun little project, imagine slightly rougher versions of the hottoys accessories and you’re basically there. The grail diary was all hand drawn on pages no bigger than a postage stamp, I replicated about a dozen of the more recognizable images from the Lucasfilm Archives book, and I managed a pretty accurate weathering job on the leather cover. I sold it along with my Toys McCoy Indy years ago, lost the instructions but threw in the diary to sweeten a deal.

Within the sacred walls of theRPF we can sometimes lose sight on what it is that brought is here to being with. Our mutual love for creating something special out of nothing. Holding a 1:1 prop of our favorite scoundrel or Farm boy was only dream for me until theRPF showed anything is really possible. Just takes passion, persistence and the willingness to learn not only from your own mistakes but from the guidance and passion others here have layed before you.

I wanted to revisit that joy through the eyes of another Star Wars fan. So I searched around YT for a channel that was mostly devoted to SW and did reviews that I personally enjoyed. Reached out and simply asked if he would like to review a blaster. Didn’t tell him which one but I did ask what his favorite SW movie was. This is his unboxing and review. There’s a couple moments that are really touching like when he sees it for the first time. I can 100% totally relate to that feeling..

This photo was shared with me by cjunco1937 of his growing blaster collection. Included is a recent MGC he got along with an amazing Hoth replica created by the extremely talented v312 I believe. At first I didn’t realize my two FDM MGC’s are here as well. I thought they where all real MGC builds :)..View attachment 1856176
And don’t forget your other FDM printed MGC!!
