Metal Gear sneaking suits in leather would be Gorgeous!
And Snake's literally wearing a custom biker jacket in the game coming out next year!
Would be a good fit stylistically with UD's current aesthetic and it's a brand that is evergreen unlike movies that just come and go.
Just thinking out loud of course. No pressure. No pressure at all.

Lol.. That is not exactly an explanation.. You just repeated yourself. What is wrong with sculpting, molding, or casting that you cant produce items 'under license' this way?
He's moved onto other styles of production. It's not too hard to understand.

Actually it is an explanation, that's why I quoted it again.
In other words in 2009 our company evolved into something else, and now we only produce leather and textile clothing...not rubber suits.
There's nothing wrong with sculpting, molding and casting but we don't have the license to produce that kind of merchandise for the general public.
Licensing is a very specific category driven relationship with the studios, and we do not carry any licensing for this franchise. The did approach us last year, but with 9 studio licenses already under our company brand...introducing yet another big franchise was unfortunately something we were not at the time able to consider.
I hope that makes sense now.

Ah perhaps I don't know enough about the business of making this stuff. I would think making a replica is making a replica... I didn't realize HOW you make the replica matters too.. lol.
Turning down Metal Gear Solid ? Man business must be good.
I thought it was the other way around with this business, having to scrap, beg, pay outrageous fees and fight for licenses, not rejecting major brands!
P.S. What happened to Judge Dredd? I remember reading on your facebook you were looking into it some ages ago.
