I feel that were in for the Awakening of the Force in Lukes Daughter....That is why he failed with the Jedi school or training that he was conducting and why he left....feeling as he failed....Looking for Enlightenment by finding the True way of the Force so to speak.....Remember the Force is Strong in Our Family!......Just my 2 Cents?.....And P.S......That's why the Saber Called out to Rey.....

That line could still easily be used in Episode VIII.

It's the Skywalker saber. I'm pretty confident that covers everyone.

My thoughts as well. There's plenty of evidence in TFA to suggest Rey is a known individual... Kylo's acknowledgement of "what girl?!", Maz's interest, the saber's(really the force's) calling, Rey's dreams of the location of luke, the music, Luke's look of surprise... it's there.
