I was considering standing up my pack, but not sure i wanted to take the risk of having some-one knock it over

Well guys, bad news - I'm either going to be really late or miss this entirely. I'm going to be out of town this weekend and I thought I'd be back early enough on Sunday to catch the party but it's all up in the air now.

Really hoping I can make it down in time!

Why don't you have a "lamp attachment" to keep it standing.

I can't think of a better way to display a Cirrus X1.

I have a half mannequin you can strap it to.
Just like the ones Art uses at the TDH table at con

The base is adjustable in height.

if you pay at the door, does that include lunch too? Was there a # of people you said were coming that were eating? Is it buffet style?

I know Venkman71 is 99% sure he'll be there and will pay at the door, he was asking for info about it.

I'm embarking on GB costume. Any owners of a Proton Pack wouldn't mind letting me take detail photos? Hope to make lightweight version out of "high impact polyurethane plastic" from WalMart!:lol

I really want to come out to this, I missed it last year and told myself I would make it this year but I'm not 100% I could actually be there. I have a ton of GB props.

I use a different stand for the cirrus x3....I have it perfectly displayed in my room, but I havent updated my pictures in my thread (havent had time).....Only problem is my bed kinda covers it a little. I refuse to get a new bed because the one I have is a family heirloom. Made out of brass....

I want to display it standing up at the prop party, but I am afraid some-one might knock it over. It only takes one to bump into it....

Not a big fan of having it displayed laying down....that is a sin right there haha

I will try to get a table next to the wall with the corner part...it could stand up perfectly right there...

Could you bring your jacket? I haven't seen a South Beach in person yet and want to compare it to my Abbyshot and Lonnie's jacket.

the midway room is huge....there should be plenty of tables...we can always add tables as well like we did last year or remove empty unused tables

plus, keep in mind that some guests are not bringing props or bringing a few things and we wont have more than 50 people...with some cancellations and tentative people....we are looking at 30-40

His current Ecto has a blown engine... and he sold his other one to my friend here in San Diego. That just means you gotta come BACK out again and hopefully do a shop day at his house!

I'm all packed and ready! I'm bringing just a couple things- Steampunk Vampire Hunter stuff, Rocketeer jacket & Gauntlets, and 2 Early RPF made props to show the newbies how we did without all the info we have now. lol
