So Cal Prop Party!! PICS START ON PAGE 33!!!!

Hahahaah oh please! Whether you're staring at a death star wondering if the black dot is to black or not is no different then me standing in a fabric store with 15 roles of ribbon in front of me in different shades of black wondering why none of them are perfect.

Props or costume the concept is the same....it's all in the detail......therefore what you were doing was immensely fascinating! How could it not be, your death star is brilliant.

(I feel like that last statement might possibly give me nothing but grief in the future but I'll leave it) :lol

Are you kidding!? You can call my project brilliant any day of the week! ;)

We seriously enjoyed your company, B... You fit right in, kept up with us clowns, and added your own sense of charm to our crazy band! Thanks again for coming!

I think that is the next hurdle. D&B is perfect is many ways (striking distance for both LA and SD). But this year I think we reached Max Q. To go bigger or better may require a bigger place.

Already ahead of you my friend!

And exactly who was it that convinced YOU to hold the party last year?

Besides there a huge difference between negativity and cynicism.

No one. I just took it upon myself.

Don't forget there is a huge difference between seriousness and jesting. Love ya Mike! :lol

Man I wish I didnt have to bug out so early:angry Oh well OC is an expensive cab ride to my casa!:lol

I've got to say a HUGE thanks to Too_Many_Cars for the awesome scarf he gave me. Really, it's perfect. (the scarf, hat, shoes, and possibly cardigan are the permanent pieces of this costume, please disregard the shoddiness of the rest of it)

The party was loads of fun, and I finally got to see some Blade Runner blasters up close and personal. I really need to pick one up one of these days. The BttF props present have also inspired me to finally put together a hoverboard. I enjoyed meeting some new people and getting to know others a little better. Utinni, sorry I didn't get back around the room again until it was too late. The time really flew by. Can't wait for next year!

Jeez dude, you have a really short neck.

Anyway, I think there's maybe one person who does the prop thing somewhere near me, so I am quite jealous of the amount of people you guys get involved.

I had a really good time too guys.
My apologies for skipping the get-together at Rob's, but mrs.slave1pilot has priority.
Hopefully she will get to go next year.
oh, and next time I drive Brian's Herbie, remind him to fill the gas tank before we leave... ;)

So this year the grand finale was all the amazing cars out in front! How are we going to top this next year???

My suggestion.......You bring your Death Star up front and we recreate the trench run scene and blow it up??? :love

Maybe? yeah, Aa?????? Mill it over and you can get back to me.

I'M HOME. I MADE IT.

But now I've forgotten everything I want to say :I
Everyone, it was AMAZING to meet you all! My expectations were greatly exceeded and I had a blast hanging out with you and getting to know all of you a little better. The props were spectacular and I went home feeling pumped to work on my own stuff at warp speed!
Every single person there was worthy of mentioning but my memory is kinda short so--

Risu - Thanks for hanging out with me and sorry me & MM didn't share our cheesecake factory! I know I handed over the bread but in retrospect you deserved more just for the fact that you let me lay hands on volpin's helmet and were just so cool in general.

Micdavis - I can see why people want you to be the face of the RPF. Your awesomeness blew my mind a million times over <3

PHArchivist - Can't thank you enough for hosting the after-party :] your home is as lovely as you are! I had a great time chatting with you and your Death Star is CRAAAAAZY. Btw, that charger you found is mine! :(

Art and Mirax - You were both as friendly and awesome as I had hoped you would be :] I'm looking forward to getting to know you better and my biggest regret was not talking with the two of you more while I was there.

Eveningarwen - So yeah, you're my new best west-coast friend. Wanna help me weasel a car out of Brian?

Too_many_cars - Becky and I will be at your place shortly to lingerie-pillow-fight a car out of you. Okay? (p.s thanks for letting me play with Herbie's controls for a bit. You shoulda known how dangerous an idea that was.)

Jedifyfe - You were awesome, 'nuff said. Thanks a million times over for everything that you did :]]

Evilrocketeer -

Wondersquid - I could literally talk to you ALL DAY. Every bit of advice you gave was golden and your work is amazing!!

MattMunson - You made the party for me. (cue everyone throwing up.)

ANNNNND if I didn't mention you it isn't because you are forgotten! I'm just awful with screen names and real faces sometimes :( but I do love you, those-who-were-not-mentioned! I do!!
