Hey guys. I'm going to get the new hex set screws out tomorrow. Sorry about the mix up. My family was helping me bag up the screws and parts when I was boxing the sabers and I must have handed a bag of slotted screws to my mom or fiance without noticing that they were slotted and not hex. Then, they multiplied my mistake without noticing. I looked at the bags and saw the screws in there, but didn't notice that they were slotted because they are so small. Anyways. It will be corrected this week.
Anyone who PMd me with their address will get a new set in the mail. A couple Brits have messaged me just asking for the screw size, since metric screws are readily available to them they size is M3x5

Please don't think that I'm ignoring anyone because you see that I've logged onto the forum. Sometimes, I check the forum on my phone, but don't have access to the material that might be asked for it a PM. Or in the case of last week, I got a bunch of PMs about set screws, which I plan to catalog and sort through on Sunday, and some PM's with direct questions about other matters got lost in the shuffle of "he's my address, I need two replacement set screws" pms.
I hope everyone can understand. Thanks

I gotta baby sit my niece tonight, my friend is coming over in the morning so we can start his. I’ll take some videos of the process
We defiantly have to sand the booster, I sanded it with 220, 320 and then 400. Got rid of the machine marks and just enough grit for the acid to grip

I did the exact same thing, though to be honest my drilled hole is a lot more messy than yours, but yeah it totally works.

Another teaser for the night
Emitter 1 soak, rings 1 soak, pommel 1 soak (removed all finish) and booster 4 soaks
I have yet to remove the black from the clamp section, like I said we had a unexpected event and I had to watch my niece. I’m waking up early tomorrow and finishing it

Picked mine up on Friday and it's pretty much as expected. Great engineering Dan and good job of tracking progress and showcasing the design on the forum prior to delivery.
