Sideshow Premium Format Indiana Jones repaint

I own a SS PF Indiana and the sculpt is amazing. The paint is decent but this guy repainted his exclusive Indy and it is truly a work of art...

No... the sculpt is that good. Haven't seen a factory paint job on this one though, so can't say how this is different, but the pictures above sure looks nice.

Hmm... and Sideshow really need to learn how to scale clothes better. But still better than some I've seen.

Holy Crap! He's the one that did the Hammerhead statue I saw online a few years back!? He was going to sell castings but it fell through. I had read at the site that had posted pics of it, the Hammerhead sculpt was his resume to Gentle giant for a sculpting job.

Nice.

Technically the top two pics are not repaints, they are recasts of the exclusive heads in clear resin with a dye mixture added to give it the skin look with the real hair added for stubble. It looks to be glued on. The second set of pics are repaints.

I wondered how he got the 1/4 scale eyes set in. Makes more sense now. Still I would buy one of these heads from his in an instance!!

Yes- he looks "suprisingly rough" in person...it was a bit of a shock when I saw him in LA.

Dang. I cancelled my preorder because of the efx X-Wing, but you guys are really making me want one of these.

Historically, most of the Premium Format figures don't hold their value. Wonder what Indy will do...
