Show your custom Lightsabers!

I just got a new one today. Christmas came early.

I'm trying to post them but the Insert Image button doesn't seem to be adding them, just uploading them. I used to know how to do this...

I see a lot of these builds, but I never can find a flash. I like the look of these metal t-track Demornay budd flashes you've done so much I'd consider going off the O.T. collection just to do one of these.

If anyone has one they'd let go cheap... shoot me a PM!

There's a De Mornay-Budd that was just listed on eBay...but it's a 2-cell. (I was so excited before I noticed how stumpy it is.)

Been working on this project for a year...

we're in a strange time where any flash right now is a "Star Wars lightsaber" and thus demands 100's of dollars.

lame... I just wanna mess around with a de mornay, I'm not paying the equivalent of what I paid for my graflex's a year ago.

Yeah that was me who did the lightsaber contest. And when I get the site back up and running, I'll be hosting another contest ;)

That's a really cool-looking saber...my only "negative" comment is that it's a little monochromatic, so I might be inclined to paint it up a bit but other than that, I dig it a lot.

I believe it was Luuke, who coincidentally just posted...but that's a cool saber...a little "bottom-heavy" cuz the pommel's so big, but a cool idea. Who doesn't love Robocop (the original)?

Hey guys,

So since Star Wars: The Force Awakens is coming this December, I've been getting back into lightsabers again.

I really enjoyed the lightsabers from the movies like Anakin's/Luke's lightsaber, Mace Windu's lightsaber, and especially Obi Wan's lightsaber from TPM and AOTC.
But from this, I've been looking at lightsabers made from fans like Vader's Vault, Genesis Custom Sabers, and Parks Sabers.

So I want to see what the lovely people from The RPF has come up with for their custom saber. And hey! Your guys' designs may spark more people to make their own sabers, just in time for episode 7.

I went the cheap route and bought all of my supplies at the hardware store's plumbing section, except for the emitters - they're DVD and HDD drive hubs. I made a dark-side and light-side saber of similar designs. I also did cheap, basic models of the insides. Not great, but hey - I was a lot younger and not very far into my DIY career so they've got sentimental value.

Sorry for the shaky pictures - but you get the idea.

I also made a double-sided handle for a friend and a long-handle saber for an ex's little brother (both not pictured as they're not in my possession).

More stable pics.
The red "button" on the black saber is just a place holder for the real button - I've got the real button but I still don't know how to connect it.

I look forward to that. It's somewhat like this thread but supersized, in the amount of pictures of varied saber craft as memory serves. :)

Is it the centerpiece of your lightsaber collection? Please share what is if not. :)

I wouldn't say I have much of a collection yet, so currently yes :) I'm in the middle of putting together my Vader ESB with Roy's new MPP shroud using a Heiland. I have a few others but they've yet to get introduced into my little set up that I currently have

Nice. The second picture does it more justice. If just seeing the first picture I would have thought there were stickers instead of rectangular holes. Looking flashy.

Greetings friends, this is actually my first post, had not encouraged me to post some of my work but well, I'm here.

These are a couple of lightsabers, made with pieces of very diverse backgrounds who have collected over the years are generally pieces of electrical equipment.

I hope you like them.

And this is almost entirely made with pieces of hydraulic PVC pipe:

I really like that first one. I love the idea of leather wraps on a lightsaber for some reason, ever since I saw General Kota's saber from TFU
