I want to do the same thing, bring in the waist a bit, since it isn't adjustable and possibly add shoulder pads to bring it up just a tad. I read somewhere that the actors used shoulder pads on these and elastic on the inside waistband.

I have seen maybe 4 of them over the years getting the right material is the key.

I think Adam did one in bridal satin that was a very good match.

Finished my Star Trek/comics mash up now I think

Me last Halloween. I got the tunic from Amazon, and altered the pants myself into Trek cuffs. Not exactly screen accurate, but what the heck.

I also attached a knife blade to a toy communicator. It makes the hailing noise when I flip the blade open.
