You have my blessing.

Oh, and adding to my previous post, if anyone need a vector graphic of a set of eyes and has a good references for it (preferably straight view form the front and the less curved it is the better) I'd be glad to make them, then TJack can mold them up. As long as TJack doesn't become a millionaire doing so... ('cause then I want in!).
TJack, please keep in mind that these eyes are not the right size, they need to be scaled to fit the specific mask someone requests.
Pal, that is VERY reasonable :thumbsupThanks, I figured they would need to be scaled a bit. I printed off a few different sizes. I won't end up doing multiple molds, so it will be all about picking one that seems to look the best.
No chance of becoming a millionaire, lol. As with all my frames, they will most likely end up costing in the $20-25 range for just frames and depending on what material is used from the lenses/mesh, I'd probably add about $10. I want to keep them affordable since the costs of building a suit can quickly add up![]()
I printed off the picture, and actually, they seem like a good size! Of course, unless you're a really small guy...please keep in mind that these eyes are not the right size, they need to be scaled to fit the specific mask someone requests.
If i took a heat gun to the lenses, would i be able to bend them around my custom face shell and then drill holes for the magnets?
Man, this is just impressing me more and more!!! Like i said, come June or July, you'll be hearing from meabsolutely, the onyx that I use is easy to shape with a heat gun. Alternately, I can also make them in urethane rubber so that they stay flexible in case someone isn't using a shell.
This isn't mine, but it is my favorite. I'd love one like this.

Okay, so here's another odd question for everyone...
I just watched a few fan films with actors who were very muscular and in lycra super suits.... problem was, although they were muscular, It did not give the same effect as someone who wears a dye-sub suit with a muscle pattern. Not only that, but the look in the comic looks way more like the dye sub suits with the muscle pattern.
Do you guys think that in the newer comics Spider Man's suit actually might have a muscle pattern on it?
this picture is a good example... there is no way that your muscles can look like that without a muscle pattern on the suit.
Yeah, you'd have to practically be Arnold Schwarzenegger to do that! Being naked wou'ldnt be fun either.Because lycra is stretchy, there's no way you could ever get the definition that appears in comics. The lycra smooths out all the individual muscle groups. I think the only way you could ever get the comic look without using muscle shading on the suit is to actually paint the suit onto your body. However, I think you'd have to be in great shape to do that, not to mention having no qualms about walking around "naked."
Wes, This Romita-Style was made By Larry Malott from the design art of David Williams AKA BroHawk On Deviantart.Nice! I think I just peed a little. Did anyone ever find out the maker of this? Is it a spidey4fun?
Wes
Why does Everyone like this suit so much? the only thing impressive on it in my opinion is the eyes....Nice! I think I just peed a little. Did anyone ever find out the maker of this? Is it a spidey4fun?

Thanks for sharing. Perhaps other people have a different opinion? Why does Everyone like this suit so much? the only thing impressive on it in my opinion is the eyes....
Maybe.... I don't know. I mean, it looks like the Romita version, most definitely.... but something about it looks too.... simple.....Thanks for sharing. Perhaps other people have a different opinion?
Might it have something to do with the fact that the color, weblines, construction, emblem, shape of the transitions, jawline and craftsmanship are pretty much perfect for a certain comic-book look?

Oh dont worry, i wasn't talking about you specifically. But i do understand what you're saying! I just don't really like it. something about the texture of the fabric and the lack of a muscle pattern and the webs... i just don't really like it.Because it pleases me. Why do certain people like blondes? Or brunettes? It's a preference. This is mine.
Yeah, whoever is the artist of this did a great job. I will probably try to make my suit similar in the way the decal on the chest is and the eyes. My webs won't be exact, but oh well, that's okay!WOW I really like this suit design, especially the web pattern which looks like a real web pattern.
