Show off your CLASSIC spiderman costume

Okay, so i really need suggestions... I'm still totally lost on what lenses would look good with this style suit.... The only two three style of lenses that are a definite no are the Mcfarlane style, Ultimate style, and the avenging style. any suggestions?

Anyone need the vector drawing based on the cover-art Amazing Spiderman #612 as shown a few posts above? If so, here they are. :)

Been really busy and haven't had the time yet to get these made.

I printed off a few diff size and before I make a master I wanted to get an idea as to what size people would prefer? My preference is about 11.2 cm from point to point. The original vector is about 13.3 cm

I think that seems about right. I printed them off to test how they would look size wise with my face and face shield. They just need to be a bit smaller.

Why does Everyone like this suit so much? the only thing impressive on it in my opinion is the eyes....

It looks like the REAL Spider-Man. Before McFarlane ruined him.

Growing up in the '70s, Romita key art was used for pretty much all Spidey merchandise. It was the gold standard, and for many of us, it still is.

This suit looks like it walked off the page. All the other suits out there look the same to me. Big eyes, busy patterns, ugly 90s style spiders.

This one is perfect, and strikes a chord with us old timers.

Someone should produce these and make a killing.

Yeah but it's too simple, i just really don't like it. Something about it just screams "cheap non profit production". and of course, spider man did make the suit by himself, but that doesn't mean that it needs to look THAT simple and THAT handmade... it just reminds me of a cheap party city spider man outfit to be honest.....

Okay, so i think you guys will think this is cool. The guy on ebay who i got my first comic style file from put up some more for sale about two days ago. I was lucky enough to buy two more files so i can print more costumes in the future (gonna print my classic comic style first though!). By the way, ALL OF THESE PICTURES ARE FROM THE EBAY LISTING... I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE FILES YET, I HAVE JUST WON THE FILES TODAY.
Check this one out... This is the Superior Spider Man from the new comic series.

And then this is the "Big Time" Spider Man suit. I got this one at the last minute because I got outbid on another file i was thinking about getting.

Well, depending on the cost of the print, i will have to choose between the three files i have and just print one for now.... but eventually, they will all three be printed!
And for the claws i was thinking maybe craft foam? or I could sculpt them and then cast them in a type of rubber.
But right now of course, my main focus is figuring out which suit to print first... i will probably go with the classic comic style first....

I love the classic look. The Ditko, the MacFarlane, heck even the Web of Spiderman look was much better than the ASM (2012) suit. Damn Marc Webb, how dare he change a classic.

Andy, I am gonna have to disagree with you on that. Some of my best memories are loving MacFarlane Spider-man.
I like each and every Spider Man for what it is. The Romita/Ditko Spider Man is classic, so that's why everyone loves that version. The McFarlane Spider Man also is cool because it was really the first "changed" spider man. Actually, one of my favorite versions of Spidey is the Carlo Barberi version of Spider Man, and he's only done like a few very select Spider Man issues. But, the guys stuff is AMAZING!
The truth is, there is no true and real "absolute" look for Spider Man, because every artist has their one unique style that they use for their characters. But, rather or not we like that style is our choice.
