Show off your CLASSIC spiderman costume

Sorry, these are the only shots I have, sad to say. It is something though. And I don't believe I've seen another suit quit like this, regardless of how it was made. Hope you enjoy :)

Thank you sir! I tried a few different methods I thought would work for sure, but ended up turning to crap. The final versions still aren't perfect, but I'm content. I spent a lot of my time just figuring out how to make em, let alone actually shaping them and putting them together. I feel it would have been a lot easier if I had more tools than scissors and sandpaper. Haha

Looking GREAT TJack! The weblines on this suit look better/more accurate than the one you sold because it didn't fit you. Where did you get the print, or did you make it yourself?

Time for some new pics!

This is my McFarlane v1.0

There are a few things I want to change/adjust to get it the way I envision the perfect comic book suit, but overall I'm pretty happy with this one.

And the lenses turned really well :) I have great vision through them and they photograph nearly solid white :thumbsup

I'm trying to convince my wife (the photographer) to take better pics of me - hope to have some more soon.

Thanks man, carl did the file for me

I'm currently working on the new file, just need to find the time :)

Hello, I started this project back in may. I really liked the design of the comic spider-man but also the look of the asm suits after they were painted so I decided to try and paint a comic suit. I got Orhadar's file and had it printed out. I also got some of Tjack's awesome lenses. Then I got on TrophyWife's wait list and began painting. After it was sewn, I finally attached the eyes and shoes that I got. The suit fit and I was planning on wearing it to Comikaze Expo back in November but the zippers I used were cheap, terrible things that died. So, I had to slowly take off the zippers and hand sew on some better ones. I've finally finished and here are the results. I think it turned out really well.

That is an insane McFarlane suit! It looks great!!! Better lighting and higher def pics would be awesome of that suit.

Thanks Iggy, I will have some better ones in a few weeks - we are having a superhero bday for my 4 yr old and I intend on wearing it :)

I absolutely LOVE what you've done with your suit project. I've never seen anyone do mostly red webbing on a classic suit, it looks very sleek and a bit snakelike. Really damn cool!

Not entirely "Classic" But I tried to set the base suit as Classic as I could while I wait for my Pattern to be printed. Also would on losing a few inches around the tummy section before putting on the new suit once I receive it but I'll gladly show it off once both the suit and I are done.
But till then, this is my "classic-est" suit. Pics are from the Midnight showing of Amazing Spider-Man 2 at the Theater I work at.

Something just popped into my mind today...
Tons of people do 3d webs on their movie suits... but what about comic suits? Would it be weird for someone to have 3d webs on a comic suit?

yeah, cause I'm having a McFarlane file made by Carl right now, and I think just for budget's sake, after Dragon con (when I premiere my ASM2 suit) I'm going to get my suit made from Zentai zone, and I was thinking about making just the webs 3d, but I don't know how it would look OR how easy it would be to puff paint/latex an already sewn suit.
