I've seen more ASM builds than I can shake a stick at. I hate to say it but, in my personal opinion, they made an epic mistake with the new costume. In a recent interview Marc Webb said there will be changes to the suit. Hopefully to make it look like.... what it's supposed to look like.

Also, back in 02 I was pissed that they did things to the suit to make it flashy. I hated the raised, silver webbing, I hated the chrome look of the visor. It reminded me of the fail that is the 70's live action show.

I saw only a few comic suits versus movie suits before the new movie, and now I can't find a damn one. Youtube has only Raimi costume showoff videos.

Can I see pictures of your guys' non ASM, non Raimi costumes? Pretty please?

I hate the Marc Webb suit as well. I actually do like the rami look, didn't care for the story. Nice suit Spideyguy45

When I dream of the perfect spidey suit, this is it. Beautiful. Anyone know where it came from, who owns it, or who made it?

Also, there was a seven piece one that seemed to be a tad darker in the blue area, yet looked a lot like this. Anyone have a pic of that? It was shown all laid out on the floor in seven pieces.

Any idea where the last two costumes pictured came from? I found the picture of the seven piece on the superhero hype forum, but it was someone asking where it came from also.

The eyes on the one I quoted above are the perfect size. I think the Mcfarlane eyes look good on paper but way too big in real life. THe Ditko eyes are just right, yet I hardly see them used for comic suits.

Same here. I wish this suit has the availability of the ASM or Raimi suits. This looks like it stepped right off the comic panel. Small Romita eyes for the win!

I was trying to go for a Ditko feel in the shape of the eyes, just a little easier to see out of than the narrow "squinty" style he often drew them in.

I bet someone would make a fortune if they made a run of the eyes like on the costume in post #8. And I bet they wouldn't be hart to make out of craft foam or something.
