Title sounds weird, I'm sure... already fast forwarding to next summer's Cons in my head, and the costume I want to do will require me to build sort of a half-muscle suit to make my upper body larger in proportion to my lower body.
What I want to do, though, is to have my natural forearms exposed for practical purposes - so I started wondering, is there a practical way to do a muscle-suit arm that stops at the elbow? The character wears just a normal t-shirt so I'll need to skin the upper arm part with latex or dragonskin and blend into my regular arm color.
The whole concept will be based on carved foam mounted to fit over me pretty much like football pads, to give the huge proportion only to my chest, shoulders and upper arms.
