Shaping the Force

Patients young ataru72ita patients, I see you're not a Sith yet. sorry I just had to :D I was going to takes pictures with the vocoder on but at the last minute I decided not to do it till am done redoing the teeth to a 9 teeth layout.

Damn fine work man, just picked this thread up after u posted on mine! Your original pep looked bit ropey but f##k have you pulled this one out the bag!

Awesome build dude!!

Thanks Murderink!

Getting ready to start with the teeth.
I have a question for those following the progress of the helmet and savvy stormtropper out there. I know when the original version of the helmet came up it had a very smooth to very round edges all around to a point were some detail gets lost or washed out.
I would like to hear some honest opinions and /or feed back on how people feels about this?

It has been a long long time since I last posted any updates on this build. :behave not that I didn't want to, I just didn't have the time to work on it. Anyways I found some spare time and went ahead and nocked off the old 7 teeth layout and replaced them with a more appealing 9 teeth layout and oh boy what a difference the 9 teeth layout make :D. also I gave the eyes, nose, cheeks and headset buttons and small overhaul to make it look a bit more aggressive.

As always comments welcome!

Definitely looks great has acquired a fresh look!! Every time I take a look at Your photos I get stucked! :D
Welcome back, I was wondering what happened to Your project a few days ago! Glad I didn't unsubscribe!:thumbsup

Regards,

Alberto

Thanks Alberto, The project is definitely going strong perhaps not as fast as I would like it to go. but is definitely going to an slow steady pace. Also I haven't forgot about your picture request, I'm going to try to take a few with the vocoder on this coming weekend.

What is the spacecoybow site, I'm not familiar with these forums, I just jumped on to this one XD. "Spacecowboy" in google was too broad. Thanks for your help

Picture update, I countersunk all 6 headset fastener holes to allow the screws to sit flush.

Edit: vocoder pictures coming soon

Alberto, here are some pictures with the vocoder on. let me know what you think

I still need to figure out the aerator / mic tips

Not to say "dont listen to Alberto" but you've made everything else up to this point, its always more satisfying when you make it you self so i'd try scratch build them personally.
what to make them out of is a completely different question, though, i wouldn't really know where to start, but i have no doubt you'll manage to do it though.

Your build is great, but i can't help but think your pictures/photography is making it look ten times better.

keep it going.

Yes I get totally Your opinion dude, but for example our fellow forumer Sskunky AKA CFO, made a fantastically perfect screen accurate reproduction recently, it is cheap and uberaccurate, easy to get, so "Join me to the Dark Sideee....":lol:devil:angel:D

Regards,

Alberto

To be honest I don't know where to start with the mics /tips, I have been looking for measurements but I haven't had much luck.
As for the pictures / picture quality well there is not much that I can do about it. who doesn't like HQ Pictures right . I have the gear so I thought might as well used to document the build and save the trouble of annoying people with blurry or out of focus pictures. I gotta mention that aside from my water mark I haven't done or used photoshop to brushed off, clone or mirror any imperfections.

rosskow, I got to handed to you and give you credit for all the criticism. Thanks to that criticism the bucket has become what it is now :thumbsup
