Scumbag Takes Credit for MCL34N's Spidey Suit...Let's Stop Him!

And you know what? Let's pound a few more nails into the coffin-

I'll tweet him too. Wolverines unite. You know, it amazes me that some people can do this and think they'll get away with it, I'm sure he'll be loving all the praise and congrats for the costume, but what a dick he'll feel once people find out the real truth. Absolute scum of the earth.

He STILL thinks he can get away with it. From his most recent message after I posted this conversation-

"..I’ve nothing to hide here, as you can see from the conversation I don’t say at all that I made the costume. I’ve passed the information that you have provided and its been relayed to Cameron, which is no lie. Is it? You are indeed making my costume yes? The picture provided to Cameron is not an exact replica, it being el fets but also mine, no?"

No is right. And funny, I'd say that claiming "I'm using a special paint applicator" is pretty incriminating evidence that you're passing it off as your own. And "I have 3 on order" If these are the suits I'm making, shouldn't I know about this?

"..Do you really think in that stupid to say that this is my own work?"

Yes. Yes I do.

Granted, he doesn't say on there that he actually MADE the suit but surely when he's asked "how much you doing them for" and instead of saying it COST me X amount of USD he replies "1750 USD each" then he says he's got to put the price up to 2000 USD because there's a load of work to do, that's him implying that he's made/making the suit.

I think the references I quoted from the conversation are more than enough to implicate him in claiming my work to be his own. "I'm using a special paint applicator" could have easily been "it is done with a special paint applicator" but instead he chooses the one that gives him credit. And lets not forget that this Twitter account is under the name GRAHAM THOMSON and he clearly implies that he has made the suit, or at the very least that El Fett's suit was in fact his own. Unless there's some massive conspiracy to destroy his good name, he is lying, plain and simple.

Oh and also, what a vein person! "If I can I was thinking of sending a suit to the costume designer to see how impressed they were"

If we hadn't been exposed to this entire lie, do you think he would have told me about his plans to send a suit to the costume designer? He neglected to tell me Marc Webb liked it, and that was a week ago.

The shooters was a joint project for me and ichigo through using rensole as the designer, I had NO idea that when I was re-sending TheNickFox's twitter post last night I was posting to him. And this has been helpful as he paid a deposit to rensole for the work but was not available for the full amount, to which I ended up paying rensole the remaining 90% for the files. He's asked me since the files have been completed for a copy of them, and all I have said is, yes once your pament to me for them has been made, and as of yet still had no payment from him.
I will have to learn the hard way on this :(

This thread needs to be in the open, somehow. I'm linking people too it and they have no ability to see it since it's in OT.

This is not his first time either, he's been doing this for a while. I'm just glad to see that, now, there is more proof some people can see what I saw years ago.

He has scammed before?

He has scammed before?

He took credit for things that he did not make. Using other people's photos saying that he had made them. This was all over on Rangerboard and had to do with Power Rangers/Sentai gear. For a time, he was even listed as a scammer on that message board.

There he went under the names Retro Planet and Thompson101. I called him out about it over there and he claimed innocence saying that the photos he used were representative of his own progress even though they were not of his own progress.

If a mod wants to move this thread, I'm all for it. We need to get this information out there, I just didn't want to clog MCL34N's thread up with this talk.

And for anyone who believes that he never claims that he specifically made this suit...here's a Twitter post where he claims that he is "working on" MCL34N's suit.

You guys might want to check with the mods on other forums as well. Seems to me I can remember some kind of drama connected to his name over at The League of Heroes forums too.

Yeah, I believe he was claiming credit for making Superman and Fantastic Four suits or something like that over there.

I think he's trying to be really "clever" in the way he's wording things. For the record I'm in no doubt that this is MCL34N's suit, it's plain for everyone to see but he's being crafty in his wording, he's never actually said "I made" this suit.

That's the thing that really annoys me about it, he's misleading people into thinking he made it himself, otherwise he'd be saying "Look at this suit I got". The guy's scum as far as I'm concerned. I'm waiting to see how he gets on making the 3 suits he's promised people.

I'll try to keep my calm, but GOD am I happy this is being discussed on the RPF. Mr. Thomson has done this so many times prior, passing off others work, as his own. I sent him (as a gift (sigh)) some costume parts from a Power Ranger costume a few years back, which he sold to a guy, claiming he had made these too. He has done this too many times to count on one hand, and I hope this is the last time he gets the chance to do so.

As people have pointed out, he's trying to be sneaky about this, though with little success. If I know his pattern right though, he'll try and make it up to MCL34N bu offering to do X amount of things, and then hope he's made some friends. I really don't want to join this discussion, as he's caused me a lot of headaches in the past, but very happy to see he's finally been busted.

Oh, and MCL34N? Epic job on that suit. Keep it!

Graham is very good at implying that he does stuff while never actually doing anything at all OR pulling a bait and switch, showing you one product that he got elsewhere and giving you something completely different.

Hmmmmm,

Graham's ben asking me if I can make various things for him - most recently, spidey web shooters and Raimi Movie suit webs.

He's currently getting shis tuff printed by my friend Ryan jenkyns - Frontier costuming then having them 'screen printed' for additional texture.

I'll steer clear.

Also, since there may soon be some "revisionist history" going on with his various online accounts, I've screenshotted the tweets I copied earlier to prove they exist...and that he said them should they be deleted:

Ok, seeing Nick's post I stand corrected, there he is ACTUALLY saying he can MAKE the suit for someone. Yeah good luck with that scumbag, you didn't even make YOURS.

Well, this is just ridiculous...doesn't he have the talent to make his own suit with all the information MCL34N's provided on his build thread? This is sad because he isn't a first time offender. Some people never learn or care to change.
