Waiting for it to fully cure so I can see how it turned out...it's like waiting for Christmas morning while your parents are asleep and you want so badly to go in and wake them up by jumping on the bed!!!

Stay tuned for more...

Sweet Santa's nut sack Jason! That my friend is a great looking mold. The cast is sure to come out perfect! You did an amazing job on it.

Plasti paste looks like mashed potatoes mixed with brown gravy.

Oh, and two other things: First, it's a real pleasure to be listed as one of the people who have spurred you on to do this, I'm glad I helped. :)

Second, it's pretty easy to see who's been telling you how to cast.

I tried using black silc pig in the resin, but it just turned it grey and left black streaks all throughout the resin haha! Nothing wrong with it, it just looks funny.

Paul, Casey has been integral in working with me to get to where I am. He may not be on the Lair anymore, but we'll always be friends. I've also has the pleasure of talking with George and Scott Marshall over the phone. I'm learning from some of the best teachers that have a lot of experience doing this ;)

Hey J, did you put in some fiberglass matte? every now and then i forget to do it on my first cast cause im so excited to get a cast out.

cast looks great man. im surprised you didnt post up a few pics!

That's awesome! I hope when it comes to making my bio it'll be easy. I'm just worried I won't be able to sculpt it. Your clay looks like a harder medium of clay.

After I lined these up I heard the Count in my head say, "FIVE! Five Predator helmets, A-ah-ah!!!" ...but there was no thunder after that :(

I've got the process down to about an hour and I spill less and less resin each time haha! The first one is an off grey because stupid me used black Silc Pig to try and dye it. Going to get some pigment for silicone this coming week ;)
