Screen Accurate Iron Man Parts

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

I just ordered one of your ears to try out. Hopefully it fits my helmet size.
Looking at picking up the missiles and launchers in the future.

I modeled the ears to fit Sharkhead's helmet when scaled at 1.000000 so it should fit it if yours is scaled to that. If not i could rescale it and upload that version for you if you let me know what scale you used :)

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

I'm working on the newest (I think) Sharkhead MK6, at the scale it comes in. I'm assuming that was 1.000000 etc.

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

I think I'm gonna hold off on finishing Zabanas hands until I see this finished. Definitely looking good.

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

Hey everyone!

I have just uploaded the upper and lower palm for the right hand up to shapeways! It is now available to everyone :)
I know its not 100% but i did my best and i hope everyone likes it :)

I scaled it as best as i could to be at Zabana's default scale of 1.000000 so it should work out good :D

Ill flip the model horizontally tomorrow or thursday and then upload the left hand pieces as well.

More soon!

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

Hello!

A bit off topic of the glove models, i have a quick question to everyone.
If i were to model the iron man under armor such as View attachment 105403, would anyone use it for their suits???

I could do the under armor for more than one suit as well (Mk II/III, IV/VI, and maybe VII.) These, however, would be strictly for Pepakura foam conversion instead of being 3D printed. And i say foam because it would be much easier to make, flexible, and more comfortable under the outside armor.

So if anyone needs one modeled for a specific suit, just request it :)

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

Hands look good! I picked up a set of your ears, they look good but seem a little thin for my helmet. I thought they were supposed to stick out a tiny but from the head?

Under armor is a cool idea. You should model some MK1 pieces!

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

Oh my friend we will do business very very soon. I just visited your shapeways site and am very interested in a few things. I see you have the upper and lower palm for the right hand please tell me the left hand is also available. I'm making a steel suit right now the hands and the hip plates i'm not looking forward to making. But the addition of the movie accurate joints would be great. Now if only you had boots available lol.

And yes ive been working on getting the model for the hands to be flipped for the left hand but ive been having problems with 123d and its not letting me flip it so im trying to find another way so they should be up soon, hopefully. And yes, i was planning on the boots as well ;)

Hmmmmm im sorry to hear that. I did model them to the exact scale of Sharkhead's helmet's ears so thats why that sounds a bit off, if im understanding you correctly. As long as your helmet is scaled to 1.000000, it should be the same as the pep file :)

Re: Iron Man Detail Pieces

It's probably just a problem with my helmet warping or something. No worries, I'm going to pick up a few more pieces when I do the rest of the suit.
