No on the LID.
Brock's gun works fine with a steel Flash hider, but mine is unreliable with steel I have to use an Aluminum one. Brock's did cycle BETTER with aluminum as well, as there were a few failure to eject or feeds, but the weight is the main factor. Oiling the ammo helped, which was a trick Jerry and co. passed on to me.

Also, I finished this a little while back and it featured in the Jerry Miculek video, but since then I re-made the scope mount bracket a couple of times, and finally took some pics of it.
It fires so beautifully, and is a very nice mauser. My Favorite ESB blaster... Luke's.

Looking at the different height of the bolts again...can it be that these ARE the same bolts, but the rear one is just sitting into a hole, that´s been drilled to large > the bolt "sunk" into it?

possible but my two are real bolts and are not trimmed they're actually two different heights.
However, they came from two scopes. And m19 and m32 or two m19s... One with round light socket and one with notched. I can't remember. One had two short heads and the other two longer heads. I just mix matched the sets to get the correct mix of real bolts.
When you look at the Han bespin his has the staggered bolts too. I THINK they just mixed them up from two different scopes like I did.

no that's a bobadebt one slightly modded to match Luke's. The Han has a slighter thick rear ring.

Luke's is still my favorite DL 44 Variation! Honestly I think it's the scope. There's just something about it...
