My Blu-Ray finally arrived today (strangely the steelbook edition blu-ray featured the inncorrect artwork with 4 stripes on scotts shoes which is a bit random) Anyway, I was watching it and I couldn't help but notice Gideon's G logo on his shirt looks distinctly grey rather than the white version I've been seeing around. I understand it might just be the lighting but I don't think a white logo would look that grey in the poorest of lighting. I can't find a picture right now but the best example is after he signs up sex bob-om and leans over the top of the limo to talk to Scott. In other Gideon related things has anyone ever made his tie pin? It's in the shape of the triple G logo. My friend had some custom made for him but the person who made it didn't want to make any more because they were too tricky to make. It's quite a nice little detail but seems to be missing from almost every fan made Gideon costume I've seen.
EDIT: found a picture of the shirt where the logo looks grey, also it shows Gideon has a little lapel pin of his logo too.

I have an original shirt. The white printing has many small flecks of black showing through. That, combined with the lighting can easily make the printing seem gray.

Oh right well if it's white on the original that explains it Maybe they put a filter on in post because I'm still unconvinced lighting alone could achieve that colour. To be honest I've never liked the white G logo on black, when I made my own Gideon logo shirts I made the logo grey but that was before I thought it was grey in the film. I just think the grey on black looks nicer.

I thought it was silver, good to know. I'll be sure to get them done in white when the time comes.

Something else I noticed was that in a couple of scene where full light shines on the SARS shirt it shows that the ringers are actually dark purple as oposed to dark grey. It was only in the Blu-Ray version I noticed that because I always thought they were dark grey ringers on that shirt.

You guys should check out the t-shirt summary I posted back on page 15. I think the shirt colours there are pretty close to what's on screen. Well, as close as the colours on my PC could reproduce anyway. Yeah the rings on the SARS shirt are definitely purple.

I've seen that summary before but it looked grey to me on that, and on reproductions that people have made. I know it's difficult to replicate deep purple without it looking like another colour on the computer. I was trying to point out how the true colour of it was hidden by the lighting and that most people would think of it as grey instead of purple.

The SARS shirt is an AA heather/navy ringer. The navy fades to a pruple when washed with a little bleach. Take a look at the navy rings on the 4 1/2 shirt to compare, exactly the same.

Depends if there are any worth making. I can't really remember any iconic shirts from the comics, I think they kept the most memorable shirts in the film. Did you have any specific shirts from the comic in mind?

I'd really love an Ontario tshirt to go along with a CBC tshirt, but I'm at the mercy of the board being abroad for a year, and I think Canadians are probably a minority in this interest thread.

I kinda want a ringer of Mr Happy like he has in the 4th book. I cant find a ringer of it. I loved those books as a kid. But I'll look around the books and see if there are any cool ones. I like the comic version of the 4 1/2 cuz its orange with red.


Update: Other than plain ringers and the movie shirts, he has a shirt that says "Canadian girls kick ass" with the flag on it, a Mother 2 shirt, a mario shroom shirt, the Mr. Happy, the Ontario shirt mentioned above, a shirt with a slime from dragon quest, and his final shirt in volume six has a star on it. Anyone interested in any of those?

Why is that relevant? We cover the comic so we obviously cover that section if it's in the comic and extended in the comic.

It's in the comic so I don't see why it would be left out. Looking over it again all I could think of is making the St Joel's logo into a patch that you could sew onto different clothes to look like high school Scott, Kim or Lisa.

He also has a green with dark green ringers shirt with the words florida inside a circle on the back. The Benvie Tech high school doesn't seem to have a logo or uniform. Not sure what else you could make from that, all the other clothes are pretty generic.

If we could get the colors right, I'd want a Slime, Mr. Happy, Ontario and Mother 2 shirt (but the black and whiteness makes that hard..). But, I want to get the rest of the movies done first. Air Quotes, CBC, Astro Boy and the FF4+1/2.
